A tragic loss of a young lads life and no doubt great suffering for the lads parents but well done to SP and the team. Despite all the goings on off the pitch and all the bad press of footballers in society today, it's great and refreshing to see the team doing what they could to put a smile on the young lads face in his final weeks.

A credit to Coventry. The more and more I see and hear of SP, I'm chuffed that he's our gaffer.

Happy Friday everyone...

The things CCFC have done for Ross in the last month or so have been brilliant and underlines one of the many reasons why, despite all the backroom nonsense and past history of wrong doing, I am proud to call Coventry City Football Club my Football Club.

Well done CCFC

This certainly puts all the pettyness and arguing into perspective. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of this very brave young man and a big shout out to everyone at CCFC who gave Ross such a fantastic day.

I can't imagine what the family must have gone through and this appears to have helped enormously, my thoughts are with them. Extremely kind of all concerned and as RoboCCFC90 says is just one of many reasons why I'm proud to be a Sky Blues supporter.

A number of the players were affected by it all too, which is nice to see.

What hurts is that all these technological advancements being made everyday but we still can't save our kids from these diseases.
Billions are pumped into finding cures and we have had the dna human body mapped for a while now. So why aren't we coming up with cures or at least controlling the diseases.
But fair play to the players and staff at ccfc for doing what they could.

We are. It takes time. Research to public consumption can take 10-20 years. It's sad we're not there yet, but we're riding the crest of an exponential technological advance and well do shit in the next 20 years that you never thought possible in your life time.

Apart from probably, play at the Ricoh

There's some news today about a possible breakthrough with treating Alzheimers, so although slow there is still hope for progress.

My heart totally goes out to the family, a huge loss, but I hope they will look back with fond memories on his whole life but also see that their sons last days were filled with so much joy.
Well done to Steven Pressley and the whole team at CCFC .

My thoughts to his family and friends, always remember him, everyday think of him, and especially when times get hard

I know the team and staff have paid tribute to this young man but can we, as a Forum, pay our own tribute to him?

On 15 minutes, can the entire hill burst into a minute of "One Ross Emslie, there's only one Ross Emslie" etc etc?

Just my suggestion for what it's worth.
