Most of those who don't attend Sixfields aren't stirring up trouble, most I speak to, just can't understand the motivation of those who do. United we stand. A complete no-show - and I mean zero fans - would attract more focus on our plight. And therefore surely bring about quicker resolution. Every fan who turns up dilutes that message.

It's like applying international sanctions to a country, and one - probably France!! - doesn't join in. It depletes the actions of the balance

No, I totally agree. I wasn't trying to say that if you don't go to Sixfields you are stirring up trouble, if anything was sort of saying the opposite in the fact that it is more likely the people who just like stirring up trouble causing the trouble because they like doing it.

Yes indeed. Wrong to have it suppressed. All the libertarians that demand the right to go to Sixfields oddly quiet about your free speech being curtailed.

Still we have a right to air our logic however much you lot do not like it.

I have no desire to be liked by any Sixfielder so any flak is welcome. I prefer the quasi intellectual offerings from you though.

The paradox the blind don't want to face up to. Combine this with 'cosy' meetings with an invited audience, and its all a bit unpalatable. Still, as we keep on saying; some people get the football club their actions deserve...

To be honest I can't understand all the fuss over it. It was about as funny and thought inspiring as a coma.

If it is being surpressed than can you tell me how many posts have been deleted in the last week or so because of people not agreeing?

It isn't about people not being allowed opinions, it is about how they are put across.

No that isn't the reason, it seems to depend on what opinion you express.

Again, how many posts or threads have been moderated in the last week and how many have been anti SISU with the same opinions? It is not about what opinions are, it is how they are put across sometimes and the purpose behind the post.

Using your theory then OSB as an example must be a fan of SISU because he has never had a post moderated?

They can't all be tarred with the same brush to be fair, I know I say things about "people who went to Arsenal" but that is usually in response to somebody having a go at giving people SISU money and is usually aimed at the select few who were happy to go to Arsenal and give them money. The same as all that go into games and all that stand on the hill can be put into a group.

The only group should be city fans to be fair.

Nick I suspect you know that in reality many fans are in the not going to Sixfields camp (if that is not too divisive) rather than NOPM, but you pretty much accuse those who go to away games e.g Arsenal as lacking principles because they buy tickets from CCFC - when there is no other option. If I was sensitive it might be a bit offensive, so should I object every time you bring it up? (I'm not bothered by the way)

Just let people be unless they are being offensive or personal as we are all able to ignore or comment on posts as we choose. Agree we could do without the name calling and that we should stick together as City fans, but it isnt the way it is.

Read my comment further up, haven't I only ever said that in response to people having a go? I agree it isn't setting a very good standard though so won't be mentioned again. I also haven't said anybody who went to Arsenal have no principles, only the ones who like to have a go at others.

I totally agree that a large % of posts on here are anti SISU and anti Sixfields and that is people's right, just that most people put their views across properly and don't seem to be doing it just to stir up trouble which is why out a huge % of posts being anti sisu etc a tiny amount (probably not even 1%) are moderated. That doesn't seem like a freedom of speech issue really when you look at the facts does it?

I have to agree
A reason to close a thread is because it is either abusive or liable.
If it is because you are bored of the conversation just ignore it, surely?

Or that the thread / post was made with the aim of it getting abusive and some did find it abusive in some ways.

Did not read through the history just assumed it was closed because it was the 'same old same old' argument again

Yes, there are people who may appear to stick up for SISU .... though you could argue that they are more anti-CCC/ACL than actually licking Tim's bum.

Similarly, there are people who hate SISU so much they cannot see any value IF they do something good .... or blindly accept CCC/ACL as always being in the right.

But I wouldn't say people are censured just because they have a pop at SISU. If they provide a valid argument, they are generally allowed to express it (unless it breaches board rules).

Even if no one turnes up, it wouldn't make a difference to sisu or the FL. This is just a notion put forward by the nopm brigade. Nice to see that their plan of starving sisu out is going well.

In all fairness you can't actually confirm that it would make no difference cause it's never been done, if your telling me that if not one home fan was attending it would not put pressure on our return then I'm sorry I think you're wrong.

@ Grenduffy....The OP DIDN'T say that Sixfield attendees were Villa, Sunderland, Middlesborough etc fans. He posted a scenario IF they were, he could understand their logic. You're twisting his words...As you often do.

By that logic if we get an extra 2000 to go we can get another 2 players for the squad or return to the Ricoh and have significantly more income and an even better squad. When owners are running a football club for non-football reasons logic goes out the window. To qoute Star Trek's Spock "its illogical" northants makes no sense so don't try to justify our being there or attending games there its nonsense. Make a stand put the pressure on don't go.

I dare say your kind of response highlights why the original thread was closed as you have dived in on the assumption that I was trying to justify the club being in Northampton and why I go to watch them. 1, there is no justification for the club to play games in Northampton, for balance I don't like the Councils role in it all either.

2 I don't go to Sixfields. I don't go because I would prefer to watch my club play at the Ricoh. However I don't think anybody who makes a choice to go and watch them is in the wrong or on the other side.

No confliction at all. It means Sisu would continue to play at 6fields and cut their cloth accordingly.....

@ SkyBlueScottie......"cut their cloth accordingly".........................That is all SISU have done since they arrived mate The point in question is, If nobody attended Sixfields at all, this whole farce would be ended much sooner, instead of prolonging the death of CCFC. Which IMHO will happen anyway.

The thing is though it is all opinion isn't it. People will disagree which is fine as long as it isn't abusive or crossing the line.

Let's face it, if someone came on and posted 'Why people don't go to Sixfields', and said 'they hate CCFC', 'Ann Lucas is their best mate', 'they want to show themselves as superfans' etc it would be needlessly antagonistic and childish, the same way this post was. There's nothing wrong with reasonable, respectful debate where people try to see another point of view, but that thread was about the most childish thing I've seen, it brings the whole debate down to the intelligence level of 5 year old children.

@ Nick....It is only everyones opinion what is happening/happened/going to happen. Going on past displays from SISU. CCFC were worth (£ millions) A decent team, top half of the Championship looking for promotion. Now! A reasonable assumption that we will be relegated to Div2 without 2 pennies to scratch our arse with. Anybody who says different (No malice intended) need to get the shit out of their eyes PDQ. No doubt my post will be ripped apart, so carry on guys.
