I'm going .picking daughter up in Sheffield and on to the game. This is a really nice stadium , worth a visit. Went to a black tie dinner there in the summer. near to town , parking, train 10 minutes. Not the Ricoh , but hope we take enough to make it a great atmosphere.Enjoy

I was dead set on it, but have to drive 400km the following day- expensive in petrol and knackering.

Looks like we'll be back to the regulars then, at least we'll be able to get to the bog at half time!

Yep. Generally the word franchise is used by sixfields attendees to try and discredit the boycotters who went to MK Dons.

Do you think Ccfc is a franchise club?

back that one up then. ..you mean attendees or ccfc supporters?
Franchise is used a lot on here to scaremonger the masses into believing we will end up as covhampton or whatever. Of course we are not a franchise club.Milton Keynes however are as well as coventry blaze.

Fairweather?

This has been the worst season in 130 years. If this has been your idea of a good season I'd hate to experience a bad one.

Not really. Top scorers in the football league, won more games than we've lost.

The best atmospheres this season Bradford, Shrewsbury, Crawley etc have been with the core support.

Although MK was decent, the first half was dead. Bradford was none stop singing.

Cut the divisive crap, we are all ccfc fans.

The word franchise is generally only used by those who attend sixfields, those that dont go rarely use that word. For instance, you are the only one in this thread that's made full reference to it.

Like you say currently ccfc isn't a franchise, so your reference to MK Dons and the Blaze (which is a scenario that you know nothing about it would seem) is irrelevant.

Club possibly wont exist in a few years, being told by the owners we will never play in Coventry again, last season was one of our lowest ever league finishes.

I am right in thinking that the ironic use of the term 'superfan' now extends to those that travel to away games?

Never intended it like that.
It is really that the core that go every week know all the songs. Plus smaller turnouts are crammed into the away end, unlike at wolves and mk where they are spread out.

In which case I apologise. I thought it was a superior fan type post.

They are all still around, the club (or at least its heart, soul, identity and what it stood for) isn't. No mystery really.
