I really can't work Fisher out he seems to make these statements and most seem to be wrong he can't surely be as bad as he is making himself look as he looks a total buffoon at the moment.

Finding a sponsor for a shirt that's going to be seen by fewer than 3,000 people each week has to be a tough ask. I imagine that nobody's going to want to pay too much for that. The only firms small enogh are probably local Cov ones - and they wouldn't want the potentially bad publicity when the majority of fans are boycotting.

On the other hand - and I am not saying I believe this rumour - if the club really were a long way down in negotiations to return to the Ricoh, it would make sense to delay and get a better sponsor once that deal is done.

All of the above being absolutely true. However, why does Fisher then publicly announce we've agreed a significant deal? Why not just keep quiet? This is up there with the land we don't have and the stadium we're not building. People wonder why a deal cannot be agreed with SISU, and then gloss over events like this from their daily hands-on head. It's incredible

"Fisher" also said..."The site for the new Stadium will be made public in a couple of weeks" that was twelve months ago, and the new Stadium remains what it always was, a not very bright, figment, of a not very bright imagination.

Yeah, that is why they didn't get one last year, LOL

No the fact is that other businesses, particularly local businesses don't wish to be associated with SISU, compare the empty list the club has with Walsall for instance.. oh sorry they have one sponsor.. I won't be using.

I don't buy the rumour that he's a numbskull. He was head of risk management for an investment bank. That's not quite as impressive as it sounds, the risk managers don't necessarily understand much of the maths needed to calculate market risk (there are Phd maths spods called quants that do that). What it does take though is above average intelligence and very high political skills.

I suspect he is playing a careful political game - aimed at Joy not us. He's playing a holding role - delay, delay , delay - keep people quiet whilst Joy has max' time to bankrupt ACL. So basically he'll say almost anything. And BTW, it's because I think that is what is happening that I don't believe the Ricoh Return rumour.

2 things.
1. I have no idea why people make such a deal about shirt sponsors. I've grown up with modern football and I love it when there's no sponsor on the front of a shirt. People will ask this question and say it's because they're wondering about shirt sponsorship money! Bull! It's about their idea of how a shirt should look and in their imagination it should have a sponsor on the front. It's true, it probably should, but I'd rather have none than some crappy one.

2. Fuck off Glen back to the hole you crawled out of.

Maybe something happened? Circumstances changed?
Maybe there's a possibility the shirt may be seen by a lot more spectators than anticipated when deal was drafted?
It's another subtle clue that negotiations for a return could be going on.

German teams make about 51% of their income from sponsorship because they have strong links with the local community.

What was that about revenue Tim? You lying piece of shit. I wonder what the going rate for a conscious is. I hope someone bankrupts Sheff Wed so he experiences some karma.

I don't believe a single word Fisher says now he just looks an idiot when he comes out with this rubbish, but he is surrounded by people who struggle with the truth Labo (if he can get out of Joy's dungeon) and Waggott (who makes it up as he goes along). any company that sponsors these people will not get a penny from me.

I thought that his attendance statement was a forecast? They don't need any fans at Sixfields while they have things to sell but with Wilson now gone and replaced by journeymen on short term deals (thankfully) they will have nothing to sell next year.
