Apologies if this has been posted already, I've taken a look down the threads and can't see anything recent.
Why do SISU want us? We don't make money and its going to cost a fortune to get us to the point where we will make money? Its not the ground, that bridge is burnt. So why this level of interest, why on earth are we so attractive to them? I really don't get it...........

Yeah Wingy, it still doesn't explain why they are putting everything on the line for the club. Re the angst and vitriole that they are having to put up with, what makes that worth while?
It must be about the stadium. Its where future profits can be gained. The football club is just a way of obtaining it. They can now start to make below market bids on an asset that has become a liability for ACL and the council.
Agree wingy. The appearance of Otium now shows that SISU have had a plan all along to get their hands on the ground. In my view new ground will not happen, just another diversion tactic.
Part way through Sisu's scheming plan. The team and academy will continue to suffer whilst they continue to bullshit. The stadium will still be there whatever league we're in.
Fisher claims that "this is not the time to sell", that they are at the bottom of the cycle. That is his answer to your question Inter.
However, common sense would tell you that with presumably less than 3,000 willing to follow his cronies out of the City this is NOT the bottom of the cycle.
He is intelligent enough to know this and is therefore talking out of his arse.
Some of you will have noticed this morning a story on Cov City Mad regarding the Casino being shut down. It isn't just the football income ACL will lose, it's the majority of it's income. Compass Group will also likely want out / or to reduce their operations at the Ricoh, along with others.
ACL could go from making very nice profits to being insolvent quite quickly.
Then SISU pick it up on the cheap.
After that, God knows what happens. I expect SISU wouldn't buy the Arena through CCFC, but yet another company, and would keep it as a separate asset; perhaps even at that stage selling the football club and just replacing ACL as landlords at a presumably extortionate rate.
