How many people work for nothing and at a company that plies a trade that they know nothing about? Its Brody according to some naive posters.
According to some reports R.R never took wages from the club according to other reports he received over £300,000 a year.
Ranson had his faults, but I do believe that given more backing he would have earned a substantial larger amount for CCFC than his salary.

But back to the point!
Who actually believes that any of the board of directors are unpaid and why would they do it? For the love of CCFC, who most of them have rarely if ever been to Coventry?

And do any of them no anything about football like ranson did. Brody was on twitter saying Clarke, cameron etc are new signings. Plus ranson was wanted my Liverpool to be their CEO or a high up position, so he must be good at his
Job

Would Elliot have been unpaid ? He was always milling around the CET stand near JSB zone before kick off without a drink in his hand.

I don't get why they keep saying they don't get paid.

Why on earth would they bother doing it?

Exactly and why do people believe it! Also another reason we are losing so much money each month.

Why they do it I can't tell you ........ its not an appointment I would want, I really wouldnt want the personal abuse many football directors get not even for a £million

Directors remuneration has to be disclosed in the financial statements to comply with the Companies Acts. If the accounts dont then the independent auditors report would have to disclose it as a breach of the Companies Act. Even if that remuneration is paid to a seperate company owned by a director as in the case of RR.

So with that in mind the last accounts for 2010 and 2009 showed £ 303125 and £294500 respectively. This was all paid to The Arley Group which was RR's company for his services. No other directors were paid by any of the Sky Blue Sports & Leisure Group Ltd companies. There is no information available currently one way or other regarding the 2011 accounts and whether the directors actually are getting paid now

Are there rewards paid in other ways or is there a job at SISU as a consultant to SISU- we just dont know. if it was pay for duties at the football group in theory then that is disclosable in the SBS & L accounts.

Doesnt clear the arguement I know but those are the facts that are available - the rest is conjecture, guesswork and opinion. If they say they are not paid by any of the group companies then I tend to believe it - why lie when you know it has to be disclosed ? Yes I know there have been gaps/contradictions in what they have said on other stuff but this is black or white facts as far as the accounts go and therefore isnt guesswork or opinion in the figures

Not seen the accounts. Thanks for the info, but wonder how many, if any other companies we never heard of have received payments. Something has just sprung to mind, I remember Robert Maxwell and his companies, he hid his dealings for many years and published accounts. Not suggesting its that extreme. Showing my age now!

know what you are saying .... but the likes of Maxwell is why the regulations are so much tighter when it comes to audits ..... if there were other companies then the auditors are required to identify any connected parties/ companies and to detail that connection/transactions. Thats not always easy though

I expect Brody is up for a share of the profits.

I think there's a reason for everyone to be on the board without getting paid for that role. Either they're already being paid for another position at the club (chairman, CEO, etc), or they part own the club, so they all have a vested interest in the decisions:

- Onye Igwe: SISU's representative to the board (representing the majority shareholders)
- Leonard Brody: minority shareholder in the club
- Ken Dulieu: chairman
- John Clarke: vice chairman, and CCFC fan
- Paul Clouting: CEO

Is that the whole board or is there anyone else on it?

it doesnt matter the role they have if they are a director and get paid, then as said above it has to be disclosed

Hmmm... All these money figures make mine and the missus' pension of £220 a week look pretty insignificant!

Why are some CCFC fans so gullible?

I heard that the word "Gullible" had been removed from the dictionary. Is this true?

Exactly my point and one of the reasons this club is loosing so much money each month is because all the above people are receiving money from the club each month.

There is at least one more on the Board. Recent addition. But not announced. No transparency
