With Elliot and Clarke injured who is going to come in, Cody didn't play the best last night then Wilson goes and scored. Transfer embargo so we can't get anyone else, so who would everyone like to see upfront
Wilson and Cody TOGETHER, as a pair I think they could do some damage. We hav to go for it now, two strikers in every match till we are in the playoff places, then we could play more conservative again.
I totally agree SW88. I don't think Cody did too badly last night. There were 2 that he should have definately put away but one hit the post... it happens.
During the second half he seemed to be knocking it on well... to no one. That's not his fault, The midfield should have been making runs into the box but were absent. I think he and Willis will do for now. I was really impressed with Willis last night. Just seemed to brighten up the whole pitch.
The area of concern, even with Leon out, isn't the attack for me, it's the midfield who, since the depature of Robins, seem lost. Bailey doesn't seem to have a cluewhat his role is, Jennings runs a lot and for me is a holding midfielder but it seems as though he's been told to push forward, which he can't do very well.

Yes, as bad as it sounds.
But he has been playing on the wing, so maybe he would be better up front now he hasn't got the pace for the wings, who knows.
One thing you do get with McSheffery is his movement off the ball which might work better for him up front.
We are left with McDonald who I don't think is good enough and a youth player who looks promising.
It's not ideal thats for sure.

The midfield has been underperforming, I do think we need to mix it up, Bailey and Jennngs have been shite. I generally agree with that.
But no, I disagree on Cody and Wilson, Wilson played v well, and looked like he may be able to do a job (sceptical still) but Cody was shite, movement was poor, didn't win anything in the air and was way too static, he offered little, missed a simple 1 v 1.
Still should stay with 1 upfront, Cody and Ball are poor, Philliskirk, I'm guessing he isn't good enough and even with Wilson, there's a risk he's not good enough, all in all, we're probably fucked.
