For me, I think it's going to be Huddersfield, Wigan and Cardiff.

Think Birmingham are still vulnerable, but due to the aforementioned 3, think they will just scrape through. Don't see Blackpool staying down there - they have some decent players, despite their current position.

Cardiff have a new manager, Lamouchi, so may well get the ‘ new manager bounce’, so I’d expect them to pull away from the others. Rotherham seem to be the ‘yo-up’ club so its probably them who drop.

Wigan look like they will be bottom. The other two places look up for grabs. I would include Birmingham in the mix for the drop.

Huddersfield, Wigan and Rotherham for me - Huddersfield and Wigan are woeful. Birmingham seem to do just enough as I expect Cardiff Blackpool and Bristol City

I think we are 100/1 if anybody still worried. We are similar odds to Blackburn to go up - that says more about them than us though

Hope Blackpool don’t surely we are overdue an early away trip there for a nice warm weekend. Just looked at the table and there’s a bit of a gap forming from 17th spot down, Blue noses will be okay but I reckon between Rotherham, Wigan, Huddersfield and if they don’t buck up Stoke.

Think Blackpool will make a good go of going down with the dinosaur they’ve just appointed.

Bloody hell, didn’t know that, that’s buggered up a possible weekend in Blackpool then.

If we lose next week, it will be us as the third team to go down. Win the week after and it won't be us to go down, but then lose the week after it will be us again.

Repeat ad naseum.

Good luck with the guess work. Assuming every team gains the points at the same rate, it will not change much between the bottom 5. But that is unlikely. I guess.

Usually one team goes on a great run and pulls clear as the season end approaches

I dont care as long as it isn't us. Top of my wishlist every year would be Preston North End - the most boring side in the Football League

And me…. It would mean we can rule out the guaranteed 2 defeats at the start of the season

Yes but at the start of next season I will still believe we are capable of doing the double over them

I’ve got over that now due to the years of disappointment. No matter where we are and Preston are - expect the defeat at Deepdale. Just assume the season is 44 games long
