I frequently wear pink. Always have done. Never had a problem with women. They see it as me showing my feminine side. I enjoy the attention from them

To be fair it was only a tiny minority singing it and was over pretty quickly.

Maybe that was because their brain capacity was such that they had to stop and empty that one thought from their brain in order to recharge and create space for a new thought.

We have some scum bag fans. Bloke behind me screamed to the linesman that his mother should have aborted him. Wow.

I hope you stepped in and pointed out the error of his ways - it's assistant referee, not linesman.

Was that when the ball blatantly went out for a throw? A bloke behind me started to have a complete meltdown.

Some absolutely cringeworthy tunes thrown out these days by the SBA. A lot of them don't even involve words. What the hell is that Stuart Beavon chant all about? Load of shite.

(Clears throat) we've got (clap clap) Stuart Beavon (repeat x 3 or 4 times)
Then a load of mumbled words. No idea what they're saying but pretty sure it makes no sense.

And don't get me started on the one where they all jump up and down after a few 'woah's' and claps. You know the one right?

It must be something about his lack of ability to score otherwise the song is pointless

Yes I heard that too. Linesman did seem to miss that the ball had gone over the line for a throw in to us, but to be that angry that you would scream something as bad as that is a bit disturbing. I know a bloke who has just come back from two years living in Australia. His first game spectating was against Port Vale when he took his 8 year old son. He was saying he could really see a difference in the language and anger in the crowd since he had last watched a game.

my favourite is still when the thickos sung "you're just a small town in Wales" to Shrewsbury fans. Also the "your support is fucking shit" to Plymouth fans. Midweek in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Brilliant.

Nice to see some casual homophobia is 'just a bit of fun' and 'no big deal'.

I'd say derogatory homophobic chanting is a big deal. You'd have probably claimed that throwing bananas at black players was no big deal as well though.

Well it's hardly the wit of genius to be fair but the keeper wasnt gay I assume? The gay men I know wouldn't cry themselves to sleep about it but if it offends do something about it, demand a lifetime ban or whatever.

Fat c**t? Any better, bullying people because they are fat? If we are going to have outrage let's be consistent

I can't work out whether he was trying to be funny and just completely mis shot it, or whether he had a screw loose

Cos it's 'casual' I guess.

Isn't this the very thing football is trying to fight against and one of the reasons so few players ever come out?
