On a pointless legal battle that all the experts are advising SISU not to have.....

Kirkland and Madine on loan for the season for me.

Well I doubt the money being used to fight in court would otherwise be used to strengthen the team but if it was I would sign Kirkland, Petrasso and another winger/attacking midfielder.

It's just not that back and white guys. Money is apportioned in all sorts of ways and I doubt very much our player kitty is affected in any way.

Investing on the field stood a much better chance of getting them some stuff for a return than the investment in lawyers.

Investment in the team and a decent manager is the only way to make you any money but I don't think sisu give a fuck about ccfc where's the money gone from the Wilson sale.Investing that 2:5 million in the team would of given them a better chance of making promotion hence making more money. Sorry to state the obvious.

We missed out on a player yesterday - Chris Porter terminated his contract at Sheff united and signed for Colchester, scored a bagful a couple of seasons ago, and with the Madine deal looking increasingly unlikely, he would of been an alternative option in the same mould as Madine.

No transfer kitty - admitted by SP.
Anyone like myself starting to feel the plan is
division 1-2 to keep costs down. Whilst
Pinning hopes on two things.
1) A unwinable JR for compo.
2) Wasps collapsing.

Whilst waiting we will eventually have youth players eventually filling the first team to be sold on to fund the team, whilst hoping for the above two things to happen?

I've always thought he was a bit of a donkey tbh, hasn't scored goals since his Oldham/Motherwell days which was about 7 years ago. Age 31 now and exactly the sort of player we should be steering clear from imo.

With his quality be looking at Chilcott Report levels of legal fees to afford him.

No, but Cody used to, so Dongle thinks it only fair.

How much money has this actually cost the club? Wasn't both the Higgs and the JR: SISU Capital vs 'the world', and the club (SBSL/Otium/ARVO) third parties?

And how can I hypothetically spend money when I don't know how much it is?

A sex change should help you with that one.

I'd sign a few decent players from the conference on a low wage rather than splashing out on big names on silly money, hasn't done other teams any harm.

I'd say that's about right. They don't need to be cash flow positive to keep bumping along, cash flow neutral or somewhere there about would do them. Which begs the nagging question in my head. Have NOPM got it right?

No not really, more NOPM, means further trimming of the wage bill. Worsening squad, etc. I can't see attendances get any lower than 5-6k which would be enough for this league and league two. It will just lead to further stagnation and threading water.

His wages for a season and Kirkland and a creative midfielder and wingers.

If you gave Madine chances he would finish I have no doubt about that.

I'd start by trying to re-sign some of the ones we have got rid of in the last couple of years as they seem to have improved massively.

I'm sure that in the near future £1.2m will be taken as fact. I doubt it's cost the actual club any more than £200k-£250k max.

Very difficult, not sure what people's wages would be let alone transfer/loan fee. I know it's a it of a cop out. I would definitely go and get petrasso back on loan though. Signing Madine without signing a winger is a waste of time.

But what I don't get is that if we got rid of Baker, Clarke, Wilson, Moussa and Murphy to name a few and then replaced them with sub-standard players on less wages (on a sixfields budget) then not only would you have the Wilson fee but I'm sure a bit of the previous players wages lying around. We were told that the Wilson money would be re-invested but I cannot see where.
