Assuming SISU are gone by the summer...

I'd build the team around:

Hussey, Christie, Bigi and Thomas

I can't see the likes of Keogh, Juke, Clingan and Cranie being around.

I think L1 promotion is very optimistic. I wouldn't back us to get out of L1 if we were in it this season even with Juke, Cranie Keogh and Clingan!

In league one, you'd have to keep the following in a starting XI:

Murphy
Clarke or Christie
Wood
Hussey
Bell
McSheffrey
O'Donovan

Think we will be mid table personally but it all depends on off field progress on how we perform in league1 obvious I know but thats the way I see it.
Think the team will be built around the kids and will be very much like we have this year apart from the obvious who maybe going in January if not then definatly next close season.

The teams going to be something like:

----------------Murphy---------------
Christie - McPake - Wood - Hussey
--------------Bigirimana--------------
---------Thomas --- Baker----------
--------------McSheffrey-------------
------O'Donovan - McDonald--------

With the likes of Dunn, Cameron, Bell and Clarke alongside the youngsters (Clarke-Harris, Willis, Daniels, Richards, Ruffels and Roberts) as subs.
I'd also be inclined to give Platt another years contract.

I think there's a real losing mentality within the club so i'd want a massive clearout.

The youngsters are talented and with the exception of Bigi they are athletic - so i'd want them in there.

Think i'd keep Baker, Wood and McPake - oh also Cameron.

i agree about the losing mentality!

Clingan has been relegated, as has Bell, McSheffrey, Murphy, anyone else in our current crop of "footballers"?

Don't expect to see Cyrus pulling on a Coventry shirt next season. With a couple of the big boys flying around like vultures we'll be lucky to have more than one of the Cyrus, Bigi, Thomas group remaining, especially with you know who still as our owners.

Well done. That team will have us on 13 points after 21 games in League One.:facepalm:

Look at our signings. Apart from jukebox none are from the premiership and He will be off in the new year

The old saying sign league one players... Blah blah blah

You dont need all amazing players to get out of League 1, aslong as you have a strong team you can get promoted. Posh have never got promoted with any big star players, Its always been a team effort. You'll be one of the bigger clubs in League 1 so will be easy to attract good players at that level.
