Really not sure what the solution is if we don’t go up. We’ve tried plenty of managers and players over the years. Older experienced managers, young managers with something to prove. Yet any combination hasn’t resulted in success

lose both left backs, both GK's, both DKE's, Beavon, Biamou, Reid & Vince

in play offs this season and that's without Jones and Andreu.

If we don't go up this year, we will be there or there abouts next year with robins

Twisting this a little, Which player(s) have you been most disappointed with this season.

For me, Vincenti and Kelly.

Was expecting big things from the pair and at the start of the season, Kelly especially was looking a class act. He just hasn't been the same player since his injury though. Too many anonymous efforts from him.

Vincenti has been a big disappointment. I have stuck up for him on a number of occasions and on occasion I think he has done pretty well, but he is so inconsistent and for every half decent game he puts in a poor performance.

The others have to be the DKE's. We knew they weren't without fault, but they seem have gone backwards this season to a degree where they are a bit of a liability.

Booooo ! Biamou !?
Admittedly didn't have a good game today.

He will improve. And get better next year.

Out-Burge O'Brien Haynes DKE x2 Vincenti Beavon Biamou Reid.
Willis undecided-one of the ones with the losing mentality ingrained in him.

I suppose you also want Jodi Jones out of the club as he has played a part in relegation two times as a player already and he’s only 20. Dagenham 2015/16 (27 apps) and CCFC 2016/17 (35 apps)?

I’m sure clubs interested in Jones will make sure they check your expert analysis as usual before they bid

Out
Addai
Burge
Haynes
Beavon
Both dke’s
Maycock
Kelly
Sayoud
Vincenti
This one will be controversial but Shipley if we can get any sort of fee as he will be pointless if we had jones and Reid plus a right sided player
I think McNulty will go and one of the centre backs

I would like a real goalkeeper who can command his area and kick it to one of our players
A player like Billy Kee to replace McNulty
I would re sign Reid and get a right winger so we have cover on the flanks (maybe Baker if he ever gets fit)

I would try to get nine out but only replace with three or four and get a bit more quality rather than the quantity we have now

I’m not sure of the logic behind offering Reid (a high earner and 30 year old who’s already forced a move out of the club) a new deal then selling Shipley for a small fee who’s in his first year of first team fotball and has done well

Shipley will play at least in the Championship. Very happy to be quoted on that in a few years time.

We need a real wide player Shipley isn’t that and he is too weak to play in the centre, I would go the other way on Shipley I think he will be non league within three years

He did indeed, started the season well (albeit a level lower) so would be worth another go next season. Thanks for the endorsement though and just tell the agents etc to send me a personal message on here and I will put them right.
Interestingly, didn't you state that we needed a new keeper and left back?

He has a losing mentality though? I thought we’d never go forward with players who have a losing mentality?

That's a bold statement about Shipley-might come back to haunt you a bit like me and Maddison.

Yes because I can recognise talent.

Said McNulty would score at least 15 this season when he had scored 1 in 15 I believe when you said he can’t cut it at L2 level

Said Maddison would leave Norwich for a very big fee within 2 years at the start of the season when you were saying he wasn’t good enough for Championship

Nope, don’t make many predictions unless I’m confident.

Made 4 at the start of the season.

- McNulty to score 15 goals
- Maddison to leave Norwich in next 2 years for very big fee
- CCFC to reach 70 points
- CCFC to play at Wembley again in next 2 years

What do you see as Shipley’s strong points that would get him higher?

Yes, just like your post asking why Robins is relying on a 18 year old where he put you wrong after 3 minutes on his debut.

Did I? You"ll have to dig that one out for me about McNulty. You know how you like to dig up graves and revert to the history books when it suits, even when people have moved on. We can discuss the Battle of Hastings in 1066 if you like?

If Shipley goes on to Championship level it'll be at left back in my opinion. Not a natural winger - doesn't have the beating of a man and not creative or steely enough to play centrally. Think he does have a lot of good all round qualities though and would make a very solid left back with the engine to get forward too.

Hey, you are entitled to your opinion and are correct that some players are not good enough. Burge, Haynes, Willis, Stevenson, McNulty, Biamou, Beavon et al

The principle was right though. We should not be relying on 18 year olds to try and change it for us. Luckily Bayliss had the ability to cope with being thrown into the deep end, but many sink rather than swim.

Why does it matter how old someone is if they’re good enough as you’ve said?

I don’t think he has the pace required for a modern full back
