......if it meant that our owners would go? No one knows who would come in either. Careful what you wish for, but what have we really got to lose ?

Never take relegation. This club has nothing whatever league we are in. SISU let it all slip through their hands and show they still haven't got onto the learning curve.

Who would trust them with investing your money?

I might be able to chip in for buying the club out of my winnings betting on City to go down that I put on a few minutes after we sold Vincelot!

I'm sure we all said this about dropping down to league one! I think if we go down we won't go back up.

But we will get relegation and retaining SISU! Give it 5 years and with the same owners we'll be playing the "Dog & Duck social XI

Be careful what you wish for. You just got an eyeful today of how that would go too. Stay in this league is first and foremost.

So stay up, retain SISU rather than go down and lose them.

Didn't we say the same thing when we went down to League One?

But what on earth makes you think that this would be the trigger to SiSU going? All logic dictates they should have tired of it by now. The fact that they are still here suggests to me that they'd still be here if we were in the Conference.

You won't lose SISU if we go down. Far from it. It would be even more difficult to attract any buyer than it already is.

I genuinely remember thinking when we got relegated from the Prem "a tour of the championship will be good, winning every week, a few different grounds"

What a fucking idiot I was

Why would SISU go if CCFC were relegated?

They are not interested in the football.
They are not investing in the club
They have, and might again, lend money to maintain positive cash flow but CCFC would have to sell a player to repay the loan
Would the financial challenges be any worse in L2 than in L1. For all I know a sustainable club might be more easily achieved in L2.

You could hand pick a dozen fans out of the crowd , give them half the budget the club currently have and they would do a better job than these twats , why the fuck we can't find anyone who can defend is beyond me.
I don't care how old they are or how good we say they will be , they are shit at this moment in time and with sisu at the helm this will never change whether we stay up or go down.

To be quite honest, I would take relegation even with Sisu in charge of it meant this was finally the bottom of the cycle and that next season we would be right up there as automatic promotion contenders, challenging all year long and our have a great successful season.

i would take the conference to get rid
I have lost all feelings for the club after 45 years, and need something to give me hope
this will not happen with the current owners - and I will not be renewing after so many years

I would take relegation if it got rid of SISU but the two things are not linked. SISU will go when they have extracted every last penny irrespective of what league we are in. What have we got left to sell before they go?

I see what you're saying, and I'd happily take this too; but for too long we've held this romantic notion that we'll ''do a Southampton'' and re-emerge from the shitty depths - it would be brilliant though, and I'd take relegation now if it meant we'd storm L2, dominate it from start to finish and regain just one iota of that once fierce pride to be a CCFC fan.

It could be a reality, since the Gods of Football have all but condemned us to relegation once again.

Yes please and I would not care that we are in L2 as long as we have owners who give a shite and respect the fans. They don't even have to be money bags type, just someone that will treat us like normal human beings.

Like said by others I am not sure we have a choice and I think we will be going even lower than L2.
Personally if I had to vote I would very reluctantly say yes, I would take going down if it got rid of SISU and Fisher.

I said in the Sixfields days I'd take bottom of league 2 if it meant SISU gone.

Now it looks like being in L2 with them still here and due to the way they run the club I can see us being bottom of the football league in 12 months.

None if this matters though as long as we're making a profit. Thank you Tim.

This is now a pointless question, the likelihood is we're going down, and unfortunately I don't think thats going to be thr catalyst for sisu leaving.

Problem here is that we are more than likely to be relegated to L2 with the current owners.

So the question is...would you take relegation to the conference if it meant getting rid of Sisu?

There's a very real possibility that in a couple of years our local derbies will be v Nuneaton & Tamworth.
