Jim Blyth v West Ham 1977 - was stretchered off and replaced by Alan Greene I think, though not sure who ended up in goal…

Ask who was in goal in the last game you saw and there’d be some interesting answers from some posters

Coincidences! We were there a few weeks ago, saw the same bench (adjacent to the road, just up from the boats) and thought the same. A quick google of Bob Wesson the keeper and we realised the dates didn’t match.
First keeper was Bill Glazier.

It was 1958 and I was 11. v Grimsby - think it was Arthur Lightening what a name and he was quite a lad I believe
But was 11 so I didn't' know about that sort of stuff.

Oggy - remember him having a frank exchange of views that day with Ian Wright - a number of years before Wright's knee connected with Oggy's face against Arsenal

That twat Wright deliberately broke Oggys nose and then tried to break Shaws leg. Can't stand the twat. I saw him in Berlin during WC 1026 with some women who looked like a heroin addict( and she certainly wasn't his wife ) Andy Gray and the hairy beast Keys were with a couple of young blondes.

Mine was Bill Glazier, Reg Matthews was a good goalkeeper and went on to play for England,

Peter Taylor, never saw him play, was he any good?
