Maddison or Murphy ? Granted Jacob Murphy hasn't played too well the last three or four matches but neither has Maddison or the whole team for that matter, but overall who is the most likely match winner. Maddison is certainly a future prospect but for me if part of his fee included Murphy on a permenant deal I could live with that .

Different players, but in terms of ability, easily Maddison.

Maddison all day long. Murphy on a permanent deal however would be great business for the club

Maddison. Maybe. At this present time. Murphy. He's got the goals to prove it.

I agree he has tremendous ability but ability on its own wins nothing.

Ability has to be applied.

I was disappointed with Maddison on saturday. He seemed to be showboating rather than playing for the team.

Agree. We are in the top six with the best chance of promotion we've had in years. This is now down to one player. We are not in the top six because of James Maddison.

Maddison by a flying Scotsman. Murphy is a liability.

Couldn't disagree with you more.
We need team players who play for each other, im sorry but Murphy is not that player. He has skill and can burn players, great, but he plays for himself, he's too lazy and he is costing us goals and games by refusing to pass to others and create goals. His final product, aside from the occasional wonderstrike, is poor. I would be really concerned to see him sign permanently.

Maddison but Murphy isn't ours to sell. Both have ability and potential. But I also feel some of our fans have overrated where both are actually at in terms of their current development.

We have the services of both until the end of the season. Let's hope both help our promotion push.

Murphy isn't fit to lace Maddison's boots

Sounds more like you're talking about Kent rather than Murphy. Murphy would be a great addition...yes he has laziness issues, but he's young and when he gets that he's a talented guy, he'll knuckle down...

He got us the winner against port vale, got us a equaliser against chestefield. That's 3 points in the last month or so

Kent would indeed be a bad permanent addition, but so would Murphy at this moment in time. He might be talented, but unless that becomes something it ultimately means nothing. His attitude has been terrible and he needs to work a lot harder if he's going to become the player he could be.
