Not too fussed who we get, but for some reason, I have a weird feeling it's going to be Chelsea. Don't ask me why. I really don't know. I have no affinity towards Chelsea, so it's just a sort of premonition. Any thoughts on who'd you like to see first?

Whoever stays up out of Leeds, Forest or West Ham or one of the promoted teams. Sunderland had a piss easy start and look how it’s gone for them.

I'd like us to win the first game. So, basically anyone we have the best chance against.

Maybe a Brentford, Fulham or Forest at home etc.

Or it would be great if it was Sunderland again and we beat them, mind.

Big boy at home. We all wanted to be back amongst these big games after all

There are about 8 massive games possible so it won't be long before we have one. I just hope they don't come in a row

Obviously makes it harder to get points too of course

For proper story, Villa away. Great top and tail to 25 years of pain.

Get one of the big boys at home, while their players are all still injured/knackered from the World Cup.

Agree with this.

Momentum is massive..... granted Sunderland spent loads and it paid off.... but its still small margins and a quick start transformed them.

Would fancy Sunderland at home actually. Bit of needle there, and would like to think its winnable.

More likely to get a result if we get a big team not up to full speed.

Manchester United at our home. Be great to beat them on the opening day of the season.

They usually shove the promoted team against the league champions

I think Arsenal at home

I want Sunderland at home and I want to utterly annihilate them, they are owed an absolute shoeing off us
