We sent him a letter of interest regarding his shares 2 or 3 years ago. Said it would be a genuine cash offer and to effectively name his price. Still haven't received a reply now.

I know you probably cannot share specifics of what was offered but I suspect it wasn't a great offer if he didn't even reply? Is it something that could be resurrected? Are there investors who you worked with first time round that might consider a new approach now Brody seems to be a little more public again?

Always CCFC, if we went bust that would be it for me. Cov Utd will never be a football league club because of the way they were set up in defect oposition to us.

i don't want to go down that road, just as I didn't want to leave Highfield Road, in fact was very anti. But more than anything I want a first class football club in this city and that's in the football league atleast. I have grave doubts under this lot we will survive that and will drop into the Conference and lower. So if there was a CU life raft I'd have to accept it, reluctantly yes but that is my bottom line.

I would never support cov united.
I'm a Coventry City supporter. If we went bust, that would be it.

Plenty would especially if it was seen as the only realistic option but fair enough stick to your principles, I know fans who won't go near the Ricoh, never have, and some never returned after the Northampton debacle. Old lapsed fans won't be missed attracting new ones is the key. Remember you can juggle a name about.

You're not going to attract new fans with 7th division Cov Utd when the premier league winners and champions league football is just down the road. Even when we were a premier league team we struggled to keep kids being interested instead of going for the big teams or villa.

It's not about principles either, it's just that I support Coventry City and if they ceased to exist then I couldn't support another team. If anything I would go to a few premier league games at different grounds to get my football fix. I'd just never be interested in Utd, even if they weren't set up in direct oposition to ccfc.
