Don't think that was the reason they gave, just think they do it to generally piss people off.

Edit: stu has kindly found the thread.

This is what is confusing me now? Who has said it wasn't them?

Will Mr Strange get an apology for this thread?

If this is true Mr Strange will get an apology from me and the boys are in the bloody wrong to do that!!!

However I am under the impression it is nothing to do with the hill and is the athletics track

Which makes more sense to me.

they are only doing what the club want. When asked when we would return to Coventry, I am sure i heard Fisher say, "they can go and whistle"

:sarcasm:

So who actually said it wasn't them, causing this thread?

The problem I have with the comment in the meeting about the whistling is that it insinuates that it is something done by the trust or at least endorsed by them where there doesn't really seem to be any evidence to suggest that's the case is there?

Why is there not something in there with the SCG as a whole or the other individual members commenting on their stance about the whistling, why is it just the trust that is singled out?

Maybe they read the forum and can see that the culprits are well known trust warriors

The thread Nick has just posted i had not even seen. That's not the thread I had seen.

I remember someone having a pop about some bold bloke and an instrument of some kind. I thought he was talking about that.

If it was those lads then I will apologise to Mr Strange.

However I bloody surprised a Cov fan would not think blowing a whistle as we attack is a stupid idea. Did no one else in the hill not point this out?

And Steve is usually on the hill with them (the chair, although I don't think it is Steve whistling, he looks a bit dench, he could probably roar louder like the hulk)

This is why, they may have pointed fingers at the Trust, but I don't see it as being the Trust doing it, it is not like it is a sponsored whistle blow.

I also still don't agree that you need to associate it with the trust like that in an open meeting.

However I will eat humble pie if these guys have admitted it. Will be interested to see what they say when they see this thread.

Still can't understand how they thought it was a bright idea

No, I agree it isn't really the Trust unless they now take responsibility for each member.

They are usually quite happy about people telling them to shut up and find it hilarious

Just so you know, but Thorn has been sacked from Coventry. Just so you are up to date

I remember a game at HR where the ref had a message put out over the PA asking for people in the crowd to stop whistling, clearly they had been planted there by the trust

That's round the back of the ground so I wouldn't see it.

When I have been the hill attendance has been around 10 to 12. I have heard the whistles but actually they do sound like sports whistles and I was always thinking it sounded like another direction. I suspect outmr modern day suffragettes are claiming credit for something they actually do not do.

According to Linnell the athletic stadium is closed. Lots of complaints about the whistles from Stevenage fans.
