640 odd tickets have been sold for tomorrow.

Discuss.

Probably a few paying on the gate? Might get 800-900 in all?

Tickets cost more than £5. More fuel will be used to travel to Crewe rather than the Ricoh, meaning a further financial outlay.

Why only odd tickets? Doesn't anyone want to sit next to anyone else?

I'm working as well.. But I would of thought we would realise how big a game this is and how important it is to keep the winning run going, at the end of the day, the league is our bread and butter and we all want to be back in the championship. Shame were not taking at least 2,000+ considering the run were on.

Don't need a Preston stub to get priority for Wembley?

OK, bitchy comments over (as im not doing tomorrow anyway so cant really talk....).

Just think the hype of the cup is better than league

Think you will see about 1,000 there tomorrow, and i am guessing that's what they are expecting! Remember we have back to back away games as well!

I'm going. Bit surprised at the relatively low turn out so far. Hope we're not taking our eyes off the league with potential Wembley trip on the cards...

They'll be a bigger following going the Sheffield united and tbh it'll be a poor game footballing wise tomoz which is probably putting a lot off

Why are people suprised by a low turn out?

Think about it, most people get paid monthly. And for Christmas pay day was early.

That means for most this is the 6th week without pay. Whith Christmas presents going out etc thats alot of weeks so money is running low until pay day for a lot of people.

Me im going to Preston, but i can understand why alot of people are not going. Simple maths really.

Very disappointed!

I bought mine last week when there was 400 sold, expecting 1000 to go at least...

600!?!? To a ground like that? I'd expect 1500 at least.

Shocked that we'll take more to stevenage when the tickets were more expensive, to a worse ground too.

Madness

I'll be there anyway PUSB

That really is a crap number given how much everyone is supposed to be buzzing with excitement at our improvement under Robins. I was hoping for around 1,500 tomorrow.

I don't really agree with the whole "when people get paid, time of the month, 2 games in a week" etc etc, if we were playing Crewe away in the JPT trophy tomorrow, it would still have sold out. The away turnout is going to be so important in these next few months, we need all the support we can get.

Not sure why people are moaning. Will be 800+ there tomorrow, which is entirely respectable. We have the second highest away average in this league and numbers have been decent all season, but we're not going to take hordes every week.

I will be at Sheff U, but not tomorrow because I am skint.

People talk about all this enthusiasm for the JPT, but lose sight of the fact that our home average is the lowest for 30 years, and the second lowest for over 50, so the fact we have increased away numbers this year against the massive decline in home numbers should be celebrated.

Should be glad you're not an Oldham fan, this was their following the other night:

I am planning on going in the home end tomorrow with a Preston mate. It's snowing up there at the moment as forecast, so we are holding off buying tickets in advance.

I'd expect a fair few city fans to be paying on the gate.

I'll be there tomorrow with a mate too, albeit behind enemy lines as have comp tickets. My 'source' tells me it's raining up there at the moment and the pitch is a right bog! Perfect for their style of play. This will be a game we'll need to grind out, may not be pretty but 3points are vital tomorrow if we're going to push on.

80 was their official following, on the night Bournemouth took 68 to Hartlepool (but they have a very good excuse).

800+ tomorrow will be decent.

Crewe at home for a fiver and the added bonus of a full Ricoh V long trip up to Carlisle in the shocking weather...

It's not rocket science, footballs an expensive hobby now.

I'll be there, but understand why people can't make like other say it's expensive to get away games now. £20 to get in, couple of beers food another £20, fuel another £20 etc you're talking about nearly £80 by the time you have finish. Considering we are in league one our support is fantastic.

You'd think more would have made the effort considering how well the crewe games have sold, this is 10x more important.

I wouldn't say it was 10x more important, one league game against a trip to Wembley - know which I'd choose.

Anyhow, cup ties are cup ties. We take 8000 to Arsenal and then 3 days later take 600 to Oldham, just the way it is.

MK Dons are taking 3000 to QPR this weekend. Their average away following this season is about 300. Can't explain it.

I'm going to Sheff U away, just got my tickets, my second awayday of the season, the SBA has been brilliant away this season so no complaints, although I hope to do more than 1k for Sheff U away...
