well.. obviously he wanted pacheco but that didn't work out. Best wouldn't come back, even on loan. I think it will be someone we have not heard of.. just come from a youth team to reserves.
I'd imagine they are all out of our wage budget range. We don't have the 20k+ per week for the likes of Yakubu. 4-5k is about the most we can manage, if that. More likely is a youngster with no-to-little first team experience, or lower league loans behind them-a bit like Ward last season. Someone like Jonathan Obika or Andros Townsend from Spurs. Maybe a guy from a promoted team that is down the pecking order like Chris Martin at Norwich.
