The purpose of my post was to highlight attitudes that have drifted from the main thing we love most unconditionally - our football club.

Those that can't see that are fair weather supporters who selfishly only care when times are good. You can hate your owners all you like but when you turn on them at the expense of the very existence of your football club for the belief of what a perfect world you expect it to be then you have lost the plot.

As the few replies have indicated already most agree they put the football club first, as it should be. Now take that and point your anger at the present situation at all sides in this sorry mess. But support your team while doing so...because you love them right?

None of us want to be in this situation, however sisu are pursuing a course of action that is damaging to the football club and of only benefit to sisu.

The argument has now passed on from the rent row, the club is now a Northampton based sports club, that is looking at relocating to the Coventry area. It seems a far cry from the organisation that was once intertwined in this city's identity.

I have loyalty to the football club, but I also have loyalty to my city. As a proud Coventrian I cannot support the idea of my club playing outside my city's boundaries just because some egotistical yank fin doesn't like the council leadership.

Why are you interested in a Northampton based club looking to relocate to Coventry? Seems odd?

To add some balance and to not let this site degenerate into an ACL/Council wankfest

Because for now my club might still be returned to me.

If we are still in this situation next season then I'll doubt you'll see me here.

I've no desire to make the murder of my beloved Sky Blues anymore painful than it has to be.

Not a great question and as usual it splits everyone into the usual groups for a slanging match which is the aim, let's be fair. I will answer though, neither, I support/supported my local team that used to play its matches in Coventry and as a result and rightly so referred to themselves as Coventry City however we no longer seem to have a team playing its games locally but we have a team called Coventry City playing its football in Northampton of whom I have no connection to. Once I have a team playing on my doorstep, I shall support that team and let's just hope it's Coventry City as we once knew them.

So because I do not support sisu I am not a City fan typical reply from some on here and yes that does make me mad after 40 years of supporting them I have a right to take what stance I want without being called a traitor for not agreeing with the Real City fans who go to Northampton.

I think most care about Coventry City first and foremost. Personally I couldn't give a shit about ACL or if they lose out on money IF it helps the club.

Nobody called you a traitor you big girl. He said real fans support CCFC which isn't really that outrageous, then you called him a c**t. Get a grip.

Most of us care about CCFC and our future. Giving in to SISU doesn't do anything for our future.

The question was either CCFC or ACL wasn't it? I support ACL.

Where did I say I gave a shit about SISU?

Look at the end of the day I am as passionate about the Club as anyone else and yes I may have used inappropriate language and have a strike against my name but i will not let others slag off the majority of supporters because they feel that they are bigger and better then us I have never liked bullies.

At the end of the day this has all been brought on by our owners who don't give a flying Flok about us they have split the fans and are happy with it.

We used to argue about the manager or how we felt certain players had performed but now it is more like a civil war.

Which side are you on? Simple question but needs careful thought before answering.

1. Coventry City Football Club

or

2. The Ricoh Arena owners and operators.

Answer either 1. or 2. You are not allowed to elaborate or mitigate you answers. Just a straight forward 1 or 2.

Simple - option 2.

What right have we as a club to go begging the council to help us out when we sold Highfield Rd when we couldn't afford to build Arena 2000 (in whichever form you wish) & now demmanding they hand the Ricoh over to us again now we are homeless again.

Personally I couldn't give a shit as to how much money Ccfc lose so long as there is a decent team out on the pitch in Coventry.

Exactly, well said. On all posts now you have to clearly state that you neither like sisu/ACL/ccc to avoid the shit that may fly your way for supporting one side over another. So without the bullshit, I am a ACL/CCC cheerleader and I hope to God they never let JS or anything that she is attached to get her grubby mits on the freehold of the Ricoh. I hope she stops throwing her f*****get dummy out of her pram and get round a table to get this club back to its HOME ground which means excepting a rental agreement from ACL or get lost and leave this football club well alone. JS has single handedly destroyed this club and it's supporters by relocating to Northampton, that's the main problem and as for those that do attend at Sixfields, takenyour head out of the sand and do something for gods sake, if you really do want CCFC back in Coventry then protest while your their instead of bemoaning those loyal supporters who have decided after many years of support not to attend, you claim to be the real supporters well show it.

You got a polite warning for randomly calling somebody the c word when you hadn't actually read his post..

He said surely any real fan would support ccfc over the council, hardly saying they are bigger or better is it?

The major over reactions on here are awful.

Thats because the club is well and truly broke and so are the fans, resolve this situation now JS and these rifts will heal, wait the 3 to 5 years and these rifts will never heal and I fully believe that is the choice. If this is the forum now, imagine it in 3 years still at Sixfields:slap:

Well if everyone got warnings for the language and slagging off on here the site would be closed just a bit hypocritical from posters that just go around bullying and slagging off all who do not agree with their side of the argument do not need to mention names they/we all know who they are.
If you want to ban me for being passionate then do so.

And yes I did read his post or would not have replied.

But that is what I would expect from Sisu not a CCFC site

When have I said anything about banning you? Read the post, it was a polite warning for calling.somebody a c unit without reading their post properly.

You are still not reading, and other people do get them.

You go on about bullying but yet you go off and call somebody a c unit for saying we should support ccfc.....

It is like a playground and most of the time it is grown men with the he called me a Muppet or scab stuff firstand every time I politely ask somebody to chill out all I get is "well why don't you tell them off too".
