CCFC are in crisis. If you believe Twitter, we are days away from admin. Surely if Hoffman is interested in buying the club, he would maker a bid around this time to avoid admin and a points deduction for the club he loves. Has anybody heard if he is preparing a bid? Or has he just decided to go into hiding? Cus right now, IMO, he's our only hope at a decent owner who can save this club and give us a chance at success again

Why would he pay top dollar when he could pick the club up after admin still in league 1 for next to nothing?

That is all immaterial anyway because we know he has no money and no backers anyway

Hoffman ever wanting to buy the club was just a fantasy derived from the warped mind of Richard 'would you smash it' Keys

Gary Hoffman was never going to BUY the club, when are people going to get this through their thick heads. He was trying to introduce people who at the time expressed an interest in buying the club. SISU in the guise of Ken Duleu said no. Whether these people still exist, are waiting in the wings or just disappeared no one knows. Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't at the same time doesn't mean should we ge into admin or worse it will. The little crumb of comfort for me though is Mr Hoffman and friends have remained very quiet since last year, i hope Silence is Golden

So really we were (or are) going to swap one lot of faceless investors for another. The only difference would be that Hoffman is a fan. And really he won't be holding the purse strings anyway, so will be as powerless as Fisher is.

He is smart he will want SISU gone first, or on their last fingernail

He has already been bitten like everyone else by trying to deal with them

More bothered about the prospect of Geoffrey returning. Has good council contacts etc. Lost money last time round, and no doubt would like the chance to get it back. No idea of financial backers but would not bet against 3 board members being Robinson, Clarke and Ranson

Possibly,
but no different to owners now set up at Leicester, Cardiff, Southampton, Reading, Forest etc, etc, All hope and speculation because it looks like hope is all we have left, but to be frank i would prefer a fan, Hoffman, dealing with posibilities than Tim Fisher, no fan, no trust, little credibility who will one day just ride into the sunset not to be seen again, not giving a feather or a fig about Coventry City Football Club

But it will rin our season and our financial situation will be even worse. We still have a chance at the play-offs due to the poor form of our rivals and our away form, but admin will wreck those prospects

We have to see the bigger picture! I'd happily write the season off now for new owners and Hoffman as chairman

We are at the stage liam where promotion is almost second preference, sorting this issue out once and for all,one way or another is paramount. As i see it at the moment going up and i'd love to by the way, brings so many issues and problems, can't buy new players being the biggest. In my opinion we would need 6 or 7 better players to come straight into the first team to give us an earthly of staying up. That costs money, transfer fees, signing on fees, wages. In our present state where is that coming from and from who ?

I have to admit i would rather spend another season in this terribly sh*t league if we could get a manager who would take out his wallet once in a while for the benefit of the club, wipe out the debts and invest in the future of our club, not plunge it into oblivion like SISU did

I think that you are clutching at straws with regards to the silence.

A bid was submitted and withdrawn as one of the directors of the companies is currently the West Ham manager.

He was part of the board that fucked all of SISU's money in the first place. He's of the same ilk as the rest of 'em.

Seems to have a very good reputation in the banking industry.

Maybe SISU didn't listen hence his resignation

If your going to try and be funny gets some of your facts right !!
Yes i would blame Ranson and Coleman for fucking up the best opportunity we had !!
Hoffmans bussiness is finance i hardly think he was picking the team or responsible for who Coleman and Ranson bought or gave extended contracts to !!

Has he? That good that he fucked up the bid for the Lloyds branches?

Good reputation in the banking industry is like being known as a 'quality murderer' - completely fucking vacuous

What are you on about? Again.

I would love Hoff to come and take us over. However, my point is that HE hasn't got the cash, it'll just be yet another set of unknown investors, so why would things be any different.

Let see what happens, shall we? As for egg on faces, that shows you're more interested in getting one over on me than having a stable club.

That is what he said, but what he never mentions is that all the time he had control he was lending money to the club at a tidy interest rate. So his loss looks big on paper, but in the end what he did was little more than make an interest fee loan over a number of years.

A quality murderer! That made me chuckle

Yes he is held in very high esteem.

Hopefully if he does reintroduce some investors they allow hoff to appoint a chairman.

My post said "Egg on FACES" "Plural", but seeing as you're two faced, if the cap fits!
I want what is best for CCFC not SISU. If that means "Take the hit" of Admin, then so be it. Much rather lose 10 points BEFORE the end of season, and start anew next season in this league than have Shitsu still in control next.

As my analysis shows there is a 80% probability that administration ultimately will lead to a lower league position

Only one club has ever benefited from it.

Needs to be avoided.
