Having gone to the hartlepool game and sitting through what was possibly one of the worst games iv seen for a while, something came to my attention that has been a staple of many of the six fields performances. We go through long periods of the game where the tempo drops and our midfield merges into defence resulting in what only can be described as lump it football. If we get a foot hold in the game we look good but if that peters out we our left with route one football thats usually ends with the other side getting a goal. I'm not having a go at pressley or his tactics I'm just wondering if anyone else shares this concern ? or has a similar observation ?

Maybe they're just running out of Energy for the high Tempo pressing Game .Pressley's alluded to It himself ,something I've anticipated happening ,they really have been over achieving when you really think about It ,using up masses of energy/effort. It won't be just down to them either ,If the Strikers are'nt getting as much In the face of the opposition they're naturally going to be further back ,same goes for pressure on defence ,defending starts from the front ,as a Team.
