I think, providing Mowbray stays, we will finally have at least a top 8 finish. Or will we have the usual far too optimistic pre season and then the usual poor season?

How long's a piece of string?

Don't see where we can even begin to speculate until we see what players the manager brings in, in the summer.

Might as well play pin a tail on the donkey.

Can we delay this post until at least the eve of our first fixture, when we might at least have the vaguest hope of making a prediction?

Still it is an improvement on last year when we had a similar post in about February!

Agreed but if TM stays ( and he only will if given the tools) we can at least start to predict optimistically.

Oh come on, let's be really optimistic and have a great summer, I think we will finish top two.

Join me and have a dreamy summer thinking about us winning the league, you know you want to

Okay.

If we keep Pennington and Ward and bring back Samuels and Reda stays fit and we bring in a couple of decent signings, 12th.

If we sign Messi and Iniesta, Ibramovitch and Sanchez, 5th.

Look mate, I'm not asking for an in-depth season prediction. Just do you think it will be our year?

If TM stays and if the board back him and if he brings in some good signings and if those signings do the biz and if we can keep our best players, then yes, it might be our year.

Peter Reid is taking over once Mowbray departs in the Summer?

Think it might depend if TF and SW want promotion, remember Division 1 players get division 1 money and championship players get championship money, trouble is those two only want to pay division two money.

Look mate, your question is ill-timed. How can anyone throw a guess when we don't know if TM will be here or if SISU back him? Do you want a pure guess? Gut feeling? Crystal ball?

Bradford I reckon.

1 in 23 chance, but I'm going for Bradford.

I still think we'll struggle and continue battling relegation. nothing we've heard from sisu suggest anything different, in fact the weasel words seem even less confident.

I think TM has enough tools playing for him, don't give him or sign anymore FFS

TM is the key to the question where we will finish.
If he doesn't get the backing he wants I expect him to walk away. If he gets the backing top 6 is easily possible.

I aways believe we will finish in the top 6 especially when I see the poor teams we have to play.
so top 6 it is

Middle to bottom of the table. We'll have a weaker team and I'm not convinced Mowbray will stay. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm positive after watching the Bristol Game.
Keep Mowbray, sign the better loanees and make a few adjustments.
Good match pricing and plenty of fans.
Top 2

Tony Mowbray is the key, he will make the difference between what we are now and what we could be Burge, Johnson, Willis, Fleck, Tudguy, Stokes, and the German are all proving to be good enough to be part of a decent team, add Pennington, Ward and Samuels back on loan perhaps another 4or5 new faces loans or signings plus the academy kids we could have a squad good enough to make a serious challenge add Mowbray and his provern back up team on board, that might well be the vital ingredient, my concern is little or nothing has been heard or said from our ceo Steve Waggott recently and I'm not confident he or Fisher want us in the championship, would increase the wage bill significantly.
