Hello

I have posted on here a few times before and recieved excellent feedback from the fans.
I have recently wrote another article looking at whether or not Coventry can pick themselves up and fight for their place in the Championship.
the article especially looks at comparisons to an article i wrote a year ago when Coventry were promotion contenders.
please take a look and share your thoughts

Thank you

Hi,

In response to your questions - For a very long time I've been sympathetic towards Thorn and what he's had to work through. He's not had much, had lots taken away, working through behind the scenes troubles that can only have disrupted him and the team. But in any football team, even one that's going through what we're going through, 2 wins out of 22 games is NOT good enough. We have players in the team that ARE good enough for this league but the way the team are playing isn't good enough (as is blatantly obvious with league position).

Can we get out of the rut - I can't see that happening. As simple as that. And I, along with 90% of our fans now think it's inevitable we'll be playing League 1 football next season. The only thing we really want is a more sensible approach to running a football club. The bunch we have in now have proven they are less than useless at that. Breaking even's fine, which is obviously their aim, but if it affects the position of a club in the football league pyramid where every season that club will be earning less because of the cost cutting measures the owners have installed, then what's the point. Going round in circles springs to mind.

As for Freddy Eastwood, he has talent but doesn't apply it. His attitude has completely lost him any bit of respect he had from his manager, team mates and the fans and he's ruined any chance of getting into the team at a time when we need everybody pulling in the same direction. BUT, from what we've seen on the pitch this season, he isn't the only one and that seems a little unfair on him.

The general consensus is, we're not very good, we're in a hell of a mess, we're down this season and we're VERY worried about the future of our club.
