I don't see much change from now.

Wont matter if at Ricoh or BPA any extra incomes gained will not sustain us in the Championship even if we did get promoted.

Battling to avoid relegation from the Championship, playing at the Ricoh under owners SISU but a manager other than Mowbray.

Under Sisu in 5 years time, we will go through 7 new managers, 30 loan players, more court cases, multiple stadium drawings, the end of TF and Anderson. Will Be playing in L4 at BPA struggling with crowds and to get 3 points most weeks with 75% of the fan base at home or falling out on here about blame.

I don't see a club with any importance to most under Sisu, only hope is if they walk away leaving a new group or an individual coming in and being able to build bridges that allow the clubs future.

Agree - we will be a club with a diminishing and ageing fan base. The only ones left will be those who remember the "good times" when we competed, rather than merely trying to maintain a business.

I can only see us plodding along as an established mid-table L1 team, probably still at the Ricoh. This is a slightly optimistic view if anything. If the Ricoh is no longer an option, the BPA will be a non-starter in my view, and I fear for where we would be. As others suggest, it could be back to Sixfields, which would probably see a very rapid decline.

I really wish I could see the club getting into the Championship and being competitive there. But I just can't see how it could happen unless we manage to find some rich new owners with more money than sense!

Have been thinking it through and unfortunately I see another event in the next five years.
Like the one where Otium came along to pickup the pieces, only the language that occasionally comes out makes me think there won't be an Otium type saviour.
This leads me to another question, we all assume Otium was created to pick up the pieces post event, is there any possibility it had another intended purpose for different circumstances?

What makes you think being under the same owners as Wasps would make us promising and progressive. A hedge fund that has no qualms about moving a sports club from its home.

Second thoughts, if it makes good business sense maybe upping sticks would be progressive.

in all honesty, I havent got a scooby, CCC, SISU, WASPS, CRFC could all do with a paintball weekend, shoot the crap outta each other, have a few pints together.

Perhaps even communicate and sort something out (wishful thinking).

They have & continue to strive to progress the rugby club. They can see there is more money in football. They can see a big unmet fanbase in the City.
Bolting CCFC, Wasps & the Ricoh together kind of secures all 3 under one parent company that seems to want to attract customers with an attractive product. Our current owners seem either unwilling, uninterested, unable or all three combined in anything except pies & court appearances.

He could have said we'd be trundling along in League 1 playing at the Ricoh, I think he suspects like me that once we stick Wasps in court they'll boot us out on our arses !

That was to ccfc !

Exactly where we are now with the same old (unless they've pegged it by then) angsty bastards moaning about the same things they were 5 years ago.

Mind you, I am impressed with a lot of you thinking we'll be in the Championship, what's happened, has new pallet of Columbian marching powder turned up in Hillfields?

Champions League, new stadium in City Centre just upgraded to 35k after our Incester style title win.

Or

League 3, playing in front of 5k at the Butts.

Either way, well still be in court.

I would settle for still being able to see CCFC in 5 years time, i.e. that they are still in existence.

I can see it being one of a few scenarios...

In any case, I think SISU will not be here in 5 years time. After exhausting their appeals and realising that we cannot progres further under them, they will eventually sell up, or JS will call her loans in...

I also think we will be in League One, at the Ricoh. After a one or maybe two year stay in the Championship...

In terms of ownership I think either these will happen.

1) SISU leave and the club will be owned by a consortium of well meaning businessmen, maybe led like someone like Joe Elliott. The club will be owned by him and The Sky Blue Trust (whose membership will have swelled after the panic caused by SISU's sudden departure) will own a part also. Under this we will have a decent relationship with Wasps etc and will continue to pay a low rent long term rental deal at the Ricoh. We continue to plod along in League One with little finances until new owners are found.

2) SISU sell the club to a new owner, namely a foreign investor or maybe another offshore hedge fund altogether.
Who know what will happen?

3) Owners of Wasps but the club. CCFC will make money from food and drink and the club shop sells both teams merchandise at the Ricoh. The owners will finance us to get promoted to the Championship and maybe beyond and rent/ground issues will be solved.

Depends what you call progress.

They've progressed along a motorway, they've leveraged a business.

They've regressed as a club.

I have said that CCFC at the BPA is a non starter, and been shouted down for my efforts..... This is why it's a non starter, the first minute says it all. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/watch-simon-gilberts-analysis-plans-11349995

The first minute is Simon Gilbert saying he has spoken to CRFC and been told architects plans have been drawn up and they are keen for CCFC to groundshare with them. How does that make it a non starter?
