Usually go the Roost or Hennesey's but giving it a miss this week as it will be too busy.

Where is everyone else going?

We normally drive in and go roost, but thinking the same. Cant see parking being as easy as normal and the roost will be ridiculously busy so were thinking of getting the train to New Street and walking down via a few pubs.

I normally prop the Kerryman bar up for two or three before I head up. Normally quiet there but not sure if Blues drink there a lot?

Usually drink in the Crown but as that's getting a refurb it'll be somewhere different. I enjoy going from pub to pub in Digbeth much more than the Casino experience at the Ricoh but it's annoying that there doesn't appear to be a single pub in Digbeth with BT sport to watch the early kick offs.

Is Hennessey's alright? Went to uni with a lad who was bottled in there about a decade or so ago and he had to have plastic surgery and won a fair amount of £££ in a settlement, so always automatically assumed it was a dive without ever actually venturing in.

Always been fine for me. It can be busy if there’s a big game on in the evening or a boxing event. Tends to be quiet enough prior to the game though.

It's decent. Big beer garden is good. Shame the screen part broken at the moment.

The Cricketers is usually an away pub, for both our games and Blues, so might be worth a look. Not far from ground too.

Might stick my head in the Roost. Got my lad with me though and it only takes one nobhead for it to go pear-shaped in there.

Bainsy's Bar - 5 mins from the ground and BOTH sets of fans welcome - Leamington Supporters club coach drops everyone there before every home game - bar food available - pool table - Footy on TVs and half decent selection of beers - its a proper boozers pub.

I usually park and have one in the roost.

Going to get train this week and probably have one at the Shakespeare just outside new street station usually a decent pint in there

Normally eat in town, then Spotted Dog, then the Roost but I’m guessing they’re going to be packed this Saturday. Might just stick to the city centre and walk up in plenty of time. Although I’m tempted to try some of the new places I’ve not been to that are mentioned above. See how it goes on the day !

There’s so many good pubs in Digbeth, you can’t really go wrong!

Our usual pre match haunt is DigBrew; fantastic choice of beer and the biggest pizzas you’ve ever seen.

Roost getting there early though. If the atmosphere gets a bit heavy then we will head back down towards Digbeth

Be interesting to see how many Cov fans will be going by train. May have 5000 odd doing it. Should be a good atmosphere around the town.

Spotted Dog should be alright this weekend. It's next week when the 6 Nations rugby starts it'll probably get too busy as it's a rugby pub especially if Ireland are playing. Loads of pubs around Digbeth, makes the levels of segregation inside the ground even more ludicrous.

Decided to stay in town and get a taxi over. Should be plenty of CCFC around New Street.

Police announced yesterday that only the Roost will be accepting Cov fans.

I predict big problems getting a beer near the ground.

Problem we've got is, we're on the Bedrock & Nuneaton Supporters Coach. Still not been announced where it will drop us yet, as they've been told they cant drop at the usual spot.
If we get dropped anywhere near the ground, we're fucked for a drink unless we risk the Roost.

Do we reckon Blues will be all over the Digbeth pubs? I think I might head for the pubs out the other side of New street
