Knew it was another load of promises to be broken. Think Pressley is doing a fantastic job with both hands behind his back. One 17 year old centre back in to the squad that struggled for depth last season. No wonder Pressley thinks success would be to avoid relegation still

Two centre backs and a striker isn't it?

more empty SISU promises designed to hoodwink fans into believing that SISU care.

They are supporting us but at a L1 level.
I hope Pressley is as good as I think he is.
Their is an outside chance of playoffs but it is down to Pressley motivating these young lads to play above themselves.
I think the depth of squad will be his downfall.

I was under the impression that Pressley wasn't keen on loans. Maybe we're waiting until January.

Of course they can, but what's the point of sign players Pressley doesn't want.

We signed moussa out of contract and not playing last season.

Are SISU really supporting the club to the extent that they promised, their idiotic move to a stadium with a smaller capacity than our average home gate ensured we would have less revenue, add that to the lower ticket prices to entice the fans to travel the extra 35 miles. They have brought in 3 players of note, Manse, Webster and a youth player from Rangers, a couple of injuries and we are looking threadbare. I think we have overperformed so far this season as we have a good first X1 but no depth to the squad. SISU have not supported SP or the fans just more hot air

It's difficult to say whether sisu are supporting Pressley or not, or whether these are Pressley's wishes. He was pretty adamant at the end of last season that he wanted a small squad, that he doesn't like loan players and that he would only sign players he wants and which fit the squad unlike previous managers who have signed players for the sake of signing players.

They need to be more transparent on what level of support they are providing otherwise fans expectations will not be met.
Will they .............. not a chance. Communications on this are pathetic.

We are balancing on the edge at the moment and we could go up or down.

So let me get this clear, fans are trying to starve then off funds but are moaning about how many signings?

The one thing Tim said at the forums that I agree with is, it is a clubs' market. There is a surplus so players are generally cheaper. Doesn't mean we'll sign them though!

We can't all get in so SISU have reduced the income. The ticket prices have been reduced so SISU have reduced the income.
There plan is therefore to reduce the income and we are helping them with it

He did also say though that he wanted to bring in 6 or 7 players in pre season

Equally, Fisher budgeted for 3000+ fans. The transfer plans have probably changed as a result of the lower crowds.

'Funding' the club doesn't mean they'll be throwing money at signings either, just that losses will be covered.

Why do you bother posting when you don't even know who or how many we've signed?

Also, did the squad really struggle for depth last season? The squad was too bloated in my opinion, it was quality we were a bit short of.
