I know our current plight and stadium situation are important, but it’s a little depressing when you visit this site to only find a couple of football related threads on the on the first page.

I’m not having a go at anyone as obviously everyone is entitled to post their thoughts about CCFC. However it does seem that the Stadium, SISU, Council threads etc. are taking over a little.

Could it be possible to create an area for football and another for the stadium etc?

The things is when anyone thinks about Coventry City Football Club, they think "A Club that is in ruin, playing in Northampton" it's a shame that the hardwork of the manager, the manager's staff and the players is being over shadowed by the ongoing debate about stadiums, councils and administration.

As we are doing relatively well, and there is nothing to moan about football wise, people try to stay away from the football and moan about everything else.

Still cue a couple of defeats and the moaning will swop to football related issues. Magic!

relatively !

We are mid table League One. Even with the 10 points added, we are 9 points behind the mighty Leyton Orient !.

football is almost secondary to the biggest fight we have on our hands, the long term survival of our club !

Just look at the replies you get when you do start a football related thread and then look at the others? some don't even post on football threads any more.

Seems to me that people are more passionate about our off field plight then on field success.

Does that make them a less supporter?

We need to know what is the long term agenda for our club not just 1 seasons worth.

We get a game or transfer rumour once or twice a week, we get some off field bollocks once or twice a day.

Before the meeting last night it was all about the transfer rumours, you gotta pick your day I guess.

Anyway, massive game this weekend: Who would you play with no Clarke or Wilson?

Maybe play five across the middle - push Christie up, move Baker infield and bring Aaron in at full back, with only one up front (Mousse or Daniels). I think we are going to have to play real high tempo game to push them back. Can't see many alternatives, unless we get a loanee!
