Do you think ACL are holding out for a potential deal for next season or do you think its pure laziness?

When SISU take them to court for it so they can put it on the stadium that they are going to build.

Should still be there in 5 years time then.

It took them a fair few years to allow one to be put up, so it wont be coming down in a hurry.

It isnt ACL's to take down. So any cost would have to be bourne by CCFC so it would be under SISU instructions if it comes down

It would as said above be a PR disaster for ACL to take it down so I wouldnt think they will.

So it will be the club doing that .................... assuming there is not a crowd of fans standing underneath it trying to prevent them.

Can't be 100% certain on that though as it will be decided by the terms of the lease, which we are not privy to. As the signage was put up serveral months/years after the lease was originally written, it may not even be mentioned. ACL can take it down and pursue CCFC for the costs of doing so, but it wouldn't be worth their time.

Yeah, it would be very easily spun as 'ACL giving up on the club' if they did.

Who owns the rights to the badge? Imagine if SISU tried to sue for them using the badge on the Ricoh as copyright or trademark or whichever it would be?

I'm trying to find any media articles about the struggle we had to put the damn thing up.

No.
It is my understanding that Otium/Sisu have "moved on".

Looks like it is already the end according to PWKH

And what happens to all the seating that spells out "CCFC" and "Sky Blues"?

Dale M. yep. That PWKH post. It did have an air of finality about it. Was surprised nobody really picked up on it.
It kind of raises the question - Christmas comes, we're still at Sixfields, are we going to do nothing and not have a team at the Ricoh for next season? A reclaimed CCFC?

wasn't one of the reasons they wanted to change it a few years back because the club couldn't copyright it as it was party based on the cities coat of arms or something similar.

i might have totally imagined that tho!

Yes it did .I think it's the end now and CCFC are gone for good. PPL can argue about who is right or wrong in this whole sorry saga but it's over for CCFC in Coventry.

Under SISU's instruction???
If a tenant moves out for non payment of rent & leaves a picture on the wall. The landlord doesn't leave it there incase he pisses the tenant off.

Why would this be any different.
