if they came back to the Ricoh gates would increase 8 fold...

Sisu can put more revenue on the table if they align with their fanbase ----simples!!!

I don't think we'll be selling. These kids will want to see a season out to see what they can achieve, don't think SISU will be looking to sell either, don't think they'd want to create any more negative feelings.

That Finnish American, that doesn't know what football is, yet keeps our club going has my respect!
Wish Coventarians would have the same passion!

Stephen Pressley, a small but willing squad and even Steve Waggot have mine. Seppala as with Fisher at this time, has my total disdain.

We were only getting 10k or so last season minus JPT.
Still 8k more, granted!

I can see Christie going in the January window as I believe him to be one of our most sale-able assets and we have more than good enough cover in Philips and Willis as they have recently demonstrated.
SISU will be looking to capitalise on any possible revenue they can get their grubby hands on.
As for them continuing to bankroll us until the end of the season only time will tell.
FFP will have a telling impact next season with a massive exit of our better players due to abysmal current revenue streams.
The future is imponderable and the prospect of playing Conference level football in two years time would seem a distinct possibility.
I don't want to sound like a prophet of gloom but given existing facts I really do fear for our clubs future.

Oh for an Ian Gibson.

Should we be forced into selling any of our players in January it won't be down to the stayaway fans. We have been doing this since sisu arrived at the club. The names Fox, Dann, Westwood, Gunnarson, Turner, Juke, all spring to mind.

We've sold our better players for as long as I can remember, this isn't something that has only started since sisu's arrival.

SISU have already agreed to cover any losses due to the move to Northampton.

This includes any shortfall in revenue and wages etc, so you are saying SISU are lying?

Or are you just making things up for a reaction? Either way by your own admission you are wrong.

By that I assume you mean that some left on 'Bosmans' at the end of their contracts? Either way they are not at the club now.

But how many of our players don't come under FFP rules as they are young and have come from the academy?

That Finnish American woman took your club to Northampton... and you respect her?
Take a look at your moral compass mate... it needs recalibrating.

There are still a few players on fairly hefty wages I would imagine and based on revenue streams of 2000 crowds I doubt that it will support much of the current wage bill.

I'm sorry I just do not buy this theory. It's akin to a thief blaming the unlocked nature of bicycle for the reason he stole it- he's still a thief.

If the players are sold as a result of poor revenue streams at sixfield it will NOT be the responsibility of those that choose not to go but WILL be the responsibility of those at the healm of our football club who took the decision- when other more business sensible options WERE available.
To blame those who do not go is just ridiculous. No doubt Mr Fisher and co will do that if players are sold- and if they are not no doubt SISU will claim credit for "not selling" our best players- taken by some as evidence of SISU's pledge of football integrity and commitment to the CCFC "cause"- But that won't be a suprise will it?

Nobody ever gives the figures on this alleged £60 million they have kindly spent on the club. What have they spent it on? Transfers in and out have broken even by Fisher's own admission. Wages have been gradually reduced and if they paid over what they can afford that was their own stupid fault (please don't insult us with the fans demanded it, all fans want their clubs to spend money, duh).
Income should have been sufficient to run a Championship club at a small loss, not £60 million. So what was the money spent on? Management fees? Interest on Loans between the web of companies? Compensation for sacking managers? All bad business decisions and nothing to do with us fans. We were told when SISU arrived that they were ball breakers at restructuring debt and were, many times, reassured that we were debt free in practice. The rent was a small consideration with such a turnover. David Bell was given a contract worth more than the rent. So can we see the accounts to deduce what the money was spent on? Sorry, I forgot accounts are not filed on time are they? How convenient. Yet some fans think we should be grateful for continuing to fund the club at Sixfields and take on more losses? Build a new stadium and take on millions more debt? Give me strength.
