Doom moments for me are the exile in Northampton and when the real NTFC knocked us out the cup in 1990, a Bobby Barnes toe poke at that sogey 3 sided dump they played in prior to SF. Plus Sutton but I wasn`t there so don't really count that. Also the appointment of Peter Reid after the sacking of Eric Black who did nothing wrong apart from play attractive football.
Glory moments - On the pitch moments aside, the run up to the 87/88 season when we signed David Speedie from Chelsea and the arrival's in later years of Macallister and Kevin Gallacher stand out. sadly the signing of an international class striker (Speedie) who was one best in the top flight at the time and from Chelsea, just shows how far we have fallen. Us older lot have been spoiled a bit probably but try as hard as I can, Bournemouth cast offs do not really inspire me.
