Do we embrace the 'we made XXX a great offer, but he'd been tapped up elsewhere and offered a better deal' type stories?

We need more badge kissing and statements about loving the fans, as they pack their suitcase and hop on the next flight outta here.

We need more bleeding of Sky Blue blood.

We need more promises of Gazza, and ending up with Telfer (seriously, from Gazza to PAUL FOOKING TELFER?!?)

We need more snowballs that see Gary Johnson the populist choice.

We need more debates about managers showing passion.

We need the left back's missus coming on and asking how he played at the weekend.

I just want to talk about the football again!! New players... Even if there lower league players or journey men here for a final contract. Forget this political nightmare were in!! Another crap preseason with no optimism

I once wrote a cracking poem about Daniel Fonseca, and even I'd struggle to find words that rhyme with Delorge. Engorge might be a goer.
