I think it was something to do with not being taken seriously. I can't remember.

at least he wants to come here carnt be any worse than a few names linked to the job and hes never been sacked

he would be a gamble, would could work?

also those calling for Black, all well and good. but this is different league, different players, and even less finance available etc.....

theres worse people than noel to have it.id be happy at least he would keep attack gameplan alive.give him a go why not

too much of a risk to give long term contract to though

I think fans are hurting and need someone who can give them a lift by the appointment alone. Wise would do that or Di Canio or Adkins. Sadly we will not go for any of them.,

For a club in the position we're in, 6 months has long term implications.

agreed but waiting 3-5 weeks for a new manager could end us too

p.s 6months is a long term contract for cov manager lol:laugh:

Because our recent history has a number of people who fancy playing at being a football manager and completely fail?

The one time we get someone who's actually managed, he does so well he's immediately poached. We'd be insane to go back to the 'you never know' philosophy.
