Re: Majority of CCFC Fans Backing SISU
Dear Mr Linnell,
Please find attached the above poll results FYI.
Kind Regards, The Majority of CCFC Supporters.
Actually yes, as without this it could be argued SISU got back more than they put in.
Wages to loanees cannot be counted as investments either, as we don't know how much the other club paid of their wages.
You can persist with the view that SISU have invested in the team if you wish but the evidence is thin.
It also contradicts the view that SISU have done well to cut costs and only the rent is holding us back. Agree this is a stupid line but many are peddling it.
BTW have you slept through the last month? You seem unaware we might not have a club next season and, if we do, it will spend even less on players than this season unless SISU sell
GO. But i feel our chance's of finding the White Knight we all would like are summed up in the final paragraph of the attached article.

What about last season then SBT? And whatever you argue about this season, fact is that we spent 100k and recouped well over ten times that amount. IMO if we'd had some balls and ambition, we'd have fattened the Bigi cow and cashed in a year later for a fee more akin to that Leeds got for Delph.
SBTaylor, you forgot to list the money received when we sold on many of those listed. For the sake of balance?
Best, Bigi, Gunnar, Juke etc

Re: Majority of CCFC Fans Backing SISU
Dear Mr Linnell,

The best you can claim (without statistical analysis - I have not done it) is to represent the majority of those polled. The majority of 70 voters (as I type) as in. Even if everyone on the forum voted similarly - that might not be statistically significant. Got to be accurate or SISU might level some of the accusations back at those who have made accusations of "liars" or whatever right back at you.
Out of interest, are 'guests' allowed to vote or is it 'members only'?
clingan, cody andWhat figures are "vastly over-exaggerated"? Prove me wrong, because I'm pretty sure they're all correct. Only Baker and Keogh I'm unsure of.
This season? Are you saying we haven't done well in the market? Moussa, Leon, Fleck, Jennings, Adams, and some would argue, Edj (I personally disagree but hey) were all good quality free transfers. For synopsis, MK Dons haven't spent money on a player for 2-3 years. They are more than competitive in this league.
50% of Bigi money went on academy. The other 50% and Keogh probably went on balancing the books, because CCFC lost millions in revenues because of relegation, the vacuum needed to filled. We also have to bear FFP in mind to!!
Clubs like CCFC have to sell to survive, that's the brutal truth no one wants to accept, but it's still true. We sell players, and most of it will pay-off debts or strengthen off-field.
Or do expect we spend 20m in the summer!?
This isnt very scientific and I am not not looking for caveats to opinion or detailed explanation. I fully realise that this situation is not as simple as the question I ask. Yes I know it begs the questions who to replace, how, is it possible, etc. There are reasons why it is not possible, could be right to stay etc. Just trying to establish the strength of feeling in response to certain media assertions that most fans want them to stay.
you have 2 seconds to say stay or go or dunno. Be honest. What is your gut reaction.
SISU - do you want them to stay or go now?
edit - did try to attach a poll but it didnt work- thanks to whoever sorted it out
btw my gut reaction is go
I know it cant be answered easily Paxman if you sit and analyse it - have spent long enough analysing it ? ...... precisely why i put it as 2 seconds to decide knee jerk reaction, so that at the very basest level have we got an indication of whether SISU have the fans onside. The reason for posting it was to try test the assertion made in the media that most fans support SISU
Wasnt trying to apportion blame or not. Plus I was quite careful in how I phrased the question - it was never meant to be a multi option answer in an attempt to get a clear response. Saying go doesnt imply anything about the other side. Nor was this ever an attempt to blame SISU for all our ills. It could have gone the other way and my response would still have been it isnt scientific but perhaps an indication (rather than just picked out of the air for a sound bite)
I respect your views in voting for them to stay and the caveats you attach
Would seem of those that voted that SISU dont have the fans onside .......... but it is only a small sample from over 2000 visits to the thread...... got to assume that the rest were not bothered either way
i'll presume those who want them to stay are trolls or incester fans
I don't suppose anyone wants a failed regime to stay but ultimately this poll is pointless.
If for example the poll said did you want them to stay if they invest £100 million in the team then unless you are a complete fool or purely interested on the fortunes of ACL such as Coundon or James (sorry forgot his other name) you would say yes.
Equally if you said no and were ultimately given the vision of no alternative investor, no signings, a 15 point penalty through an involuntary CVA and ultimately liquidation - you may change your mind.
The question is unanswerable as we know not the consequence.
Yes but we know that sisu wont invest...or if they do, nothing substantial.

I myself blame acl, sisu and the council for the mess we are in do not trust any of them.... So i wish for the sake of this great football club they would all do the decent thing and let somebody new takeover....
Not at all, he explains that he's looking for "a gut reaction, don't spend more than 2 seconds thinking about it". Not the most difficult concept to grasp, is it?
That gets my vote
Problem is someone needs to buy the club to enable that-and according to you there's nobody interested.
