just guessing, but might be something to do with a lack of a decision on a specific taker.
You cant have "whoever feels like it". Next thing you know, Willis will be taking corners
Well Willis was taking free kicks in attacking shooting positions today so it isn't as absurd as it seems.
Madine scored last week so was natural choice this week. He missed. It happens.
it does, 5 out of 6 times recently
Granted and that includes Baker. My point is Madine stepped up after scoring last week. The ones before that don't really matter.
so the reda, tudgay etc misses dont matter but the last one scored does ?
Completely forgot about the tudgay miss.
I believe the last one scored was Carl baker against gillingham away last year 4-2 loss.
I've been pessimistic with pens for as long as I can remember. Always convinced that if opposition get one they'll score, if it's us, we'll miss! :-(
Yes you can't help it can you. We should of won today 1-0 via a pen but we can't. Should of won 1-0 last week via a pen last week and lost.
I think back and rochdale away this season. They scored a penalty between two poor teams and they win 1-0. Maybe that's why they are top half and we aren't.
not sure i can agree than pens are much of a reason why we are fighting relegation and not top half
Shows bad on Steven Pressley imo.
If you watch the penalty kick....He misshit it too.Madine scored last week
McSheffrey could usually put them away, straight down the middle with power....................mind you, he did PRACTICE them !!!!!
And I'm yet to see much evidence that practicing penalties produces concrete results.
