What's the latest on Carl Baker ? (1 Viewer)

How long does it take to prove his fitness ? Surely having played in India until recently he should have recovered from his injury by now. He is training with the club. Any update from MR would be appreciated ?

I think he is only doing rehab work with us at the min rather than training with the club as Ive seen some people say. My understanding is that he won't be fit till the end of Jan at the earliest. Even them he wouldnt have played a game for months. Wouldn't expect any contract offer to be made until end of Jan at the earliest.

I think he’s out for 10 weeks and it was end of November when he got the diagnosis.

I’d say that’s a certainty. Similar role to Tudgay and Ricketts.

Robins has released a statement via the club:

'We are still keeping an eye on Carl and his fitness is improving day by day. I can personally reassure Voice of Reason that his Avon order made on Facebook the other night will be delivered next Thursday when Carl does his rounds'.
