What's happening with Conor Thomas (1 Viewer)

Undoubtedly talented, he started 25 games last season at a higher level. Since returning from injury this season has come off the bench several times, usually very late in the game. Was not on the bench yesterday. Appears to be out of favour with Pressley, likewise when Robins was here. What is the explanation?

Wish I knew.

I'm no body language expert but his didnt look great as he was being made to do some running on the pitch yesturday pre match with a couple of yth team lads before the first team came out to warm up.

Better alternatives that we've previously not been blessed with. The problems have largely not been on the pitch and those that are have been more defensive ones.

Still young and will improve again for next season.

I think he's very unlikely to be here next season. Seems a pity.

Agree, Thomas will go in the summer along with many others, the inevitable result of going into administration. I dread to think what our squad will look like next season.

I agree, probably wrapping him in cotton wool, ready for the summer fire sale.

I said a few weeks back.. I think he's off to a bigger club and in the contract we aren't allowed to play him before he goes.

Always struck me as massively over hyped. Admittedly he's played for the club at a very difficult time but I'm yet to be convinced that he has that much quality based on his appearances. Having said this, he'll probably leave in the summer and be a great success somewhere else as they all usually are!
