THE great sage of accounts making all things legible for the common fan, leading the fight against corrupt accounting in football where ever it may be, SuperOSB.

It's the facts that "bash SISU".

Not saying it to be malicious. I genuinely thought I saw a claim on here that he was.

Not saying I take everything he says as gospel, but I'd understand far less about our situation if he never posted on this forum. Explains things well for those of us who don't have a great grasp of accountancy

A few months back there was an attempt to smear (can't really put it any other way) OSB and so presumably call his analysis into question, by "claiming" that he had links with ACL.

It was incorrect.

On the basis of his posts on this site, he was asked to attend a meeting on behalf of the Higgs Charity which he did f.o.c.

As I stated at the time, I ( as a fellow accountant who can't be arsed to spend the time and effort that he has put into analysing CCFC's accounts) am very grateful for the light that he has shone onto the financial issues.

To be fair he did a bit of unpaid work for Higgs(not ACL), which is where the confusion came in.

Though kind of entwined with ACL in some ways, they are independent in others, such as accepting the CVA for the Higgs Centre as themselves.

I think we have to draw a distinction between innocent confusion and malicious confusion.

If anyone is still "confused" then I would have to doubt their "innocence".

tbf there's a fair amount of repeated confusion filtering around here, additional to this so not entirely unexpected

A bit like the Russian soldiers helping out during the war and being seen all around Britain, all based on some Frenchmen saying on a train that ze rations were here.

Whats wrong?

Don't you like the fact that he is much more intelligent than yourself and seems to find it easy to prove that SISU keep lying to us all with hard facts?

If we were all like yourself there is a decent chance we wouldn't have a club anymore. I suppose it would be good to start a new club as we would a lower non league club and find it easy to win games.......just like we did when SISU took us to Div 3.

Oh, but I do like OldSkyeBlue58 - and I even respect him a lot.
We did do the three FAQ's together a couple of years back - even if we disagree on a lot (most actually), we do it in a respectful way.

The OP asked what/who is OSB ... I put in a suggestion of what OSB could be.

To be honest, I was initially tempted to post:

OSB is short for British Society of Dyslexia - but I didn't think many would see the humor, and it is more fun 'spoken' than 'written'.

In any case - I wasn't referring to OldSkyBlue58.

That would have made me chuckle. I see you deliberately misspelled humour there too.

And I was initially tempted to post " how funny" - but that would have been a load of bollocks as well.

To the Op's question it would be best to say OSB is Sky Blue Talks ORACLE.

That's probably a fair assessment. He has tremendous patience to research the facts and present them on this forum. I for one appreciate that and it helps me to form my own opinions. There are no 'assumptions' made when presenting those facts.

When making comments though his lateral thinking cap tends to be inline with an accountants view of things and not always necessarily with a wider view of the practicalities of how people will react - much the way when I get my accountants advice but make a decision on my gut feeling and experience, not what my accountant tells me. This is not a criticism just an observation.

However his insight and his comments are for the most part accurate, sensible and to be commended. I think we are very lucky to have him around.
