Winning the penalty on Monday.
Boro scored and were getting on top before that. They would have scored again if we hadn’t got only our second penalty of the season.
Bang! Game over and we are back flying again.

Prior to being injured, he was out best player. 10 goals, as well.

Asante is a red herring

He had a purple patch in front of goal, that’s pretty much it.

Maybe you can argue his pressing is missed, but with everyone fit where would he actually start now?

BTA is a fantastic option off the bench

Think he would come on as sub, on left wing. Hardly a red herring, 10 goals and a quality player

If campbell doesn't injure dovin do we find ourselves here on the cusp of promotion to the premier League?

We may have got to Wembley and won the play offs last season with a fit Dovin.

I like dovin and thought he showed real signs of being a great keeper but rushworth seems to be something else right now

Not saying we wouldn't have won playoffs with dovin just thought it a a sliding doors moment that has worked out long term for us

The playoffs might've been different with Dovin in goal though

Looks like Middlesbrough taking top spot off us combined with us immediately playing them has been a real catalyst for us.

It was actually the perfect time to play boro straight after them taking over - did not think it at the time but not looked back since

Mad to think that was only 20 days ago. If we had lost that , Boro may have been hard to catch and our confidence shot. 5 wins later and it’s all very different.

When the fans booed after Oxford.

I think the players realised that they were not good enough and better start winning again.

When we're back in the Prem, I hope we can identify the booing fans and we can salute them on the pitch before our first home game for getting the team over the line.

Not all heroes wear capes... or cheer!

Weirdly I’d say that Conway miss against boro away.

Instead of being 5 points clear at the top, we’d currently be second. Such a big swing if he had scored and they had gone on to win (no guarantees they would’ve done obviously but quite likely)

If bobby thomas never chopped the ball into his own net conway could have scored and wed have still won

Whittaker seems to be going through a dry spell not that I focus on it.

What is a sliding doors moment?
Can you speak in common English and not make assumptions.
Thank you from all who don't follow popular culture, music, fashion, politics, religion, cookery, gardeners world, trainspotting, online auctions, obscure podcasters or YouTubers and the shipping forecast.

Only only SBT could a reference to 28 year old movie get complaints for being too pop culture

Sliding doors moments are innocuous at the time then prove to have big consequences. Going on that basis…whoever coughed near Victor Torp back in December.

Gave that a laughing emoji but was reticent due to a film being referred to as a movie!

(plus the fact that Sliding Doors was actually a book long before it was turned into a moving picture)
