I'd say watch the cricket... but the current England set up makes CCFC look like Real Madrid.

I bet you re-read that 4 times before posting just to be sure that it was grammatically correct!

Enjoy the summer. Had the first BBQ of the year today. Go and watch some motorsport of the four wheeled variety and go on holiday.

She forces me to go to the Ricoh which is a bit cruel. However she's an absolute diamond. Came with me to Newport v Oxford on Saturday. Also she drove me and my mate 300+ miles to watch Bolton v Blackpool the other week. What 19 year old girl wouldn't want to see a 94th min equaliser involving Ediur Gudjohnsen and Emile Heskey?

That's going to be brilliant. Shame it's not coming to the Ricoh though.

Love watching football anywhere. However it gives me the chance to meet new people, talk to other fans and visit new grounds. As a sideline it's a bit of a social experiment in a way. Can witness how other fans are reacting to certain situations on the pitch and see the quality of different levels without having any preference to who wins. Also get to see what clubs do to aid the matchday experience in comparison to what our's does.

I fully understand and respect that, it is interesting going to games as a neutral observer.

Quite a few years ago I lived in Sheffield and attended quite a few Wednesday and Utd games. I lived there in the fateful year Wednesday went down and Utd up to the top division which led to mayhem in the City centre that night. Was also at a Wednesday game a few years later when they again got relegated under Fat Ron. I felt sorry for the Wednesday fans that day, without any real understanding of their pain, after all our escapes. Sadly I have felt that pain twice now!

Also attended some Middlesbrough games witha Boro fan a few times and actually witnessed what a promotion campaign was like, something I long to experience with my own club. Overall I really enjoyed the games but never felt the passion, happiness and despair that I get as a loyal Sky Blue!

Love neutral games. Bet Sheffield was interesting that day to say the least. Feel the same. Can't understand how some people can support more than one club or switch from one to the other depending on league position.

The Ashes, The Ashes, The Ashes. Although that is likely to be just as depressing as watching City.

I was living in Newcastle, when Keegan took over for the first time, could not believe the way people's outlook on life changed in such short period of time, amazing to go to the games up there, but still drove down to Cov for our games. When I lived in York, that was another matter (late 80's), so depressing going to their games, the main home end behind the goal didn't have a roof then, and there were turnstiles that you paid an extra £1 to go in, the money was supposed to go towards the cost of the roof over the end. I note that the roof is there, not sure when it was build, but it took along time to build!!

I tend to, whenever possible go to games if I'm in the area, had some interesting times, Millwall was the most scary, but Wimbledon (Plough Lane) was the most memorable, went in main stand (this was when they first reach Div 1) it was more like a whos who of Div 1 Mgrs/Scouts, I think trying to work a way round how to overcome their football (Yes got a stiff neck looking up for the ball all game!)
