Well most of the talk on here is about if this squad is good enough to be high up the league or not.

I've seen most of the new players and I think we look very, very poor.

Of the permenants I would get rid of all of them tomorrow.

So what position would you be happy with by the end of the season.

There is zero hope of promotion - the team looks one of the weakest in the league - so I'll say it - as long as we survive I'll just take that and move on to next season and hope this manager can change the squad radically and mount some sort of challenge then.

While I still think we can finish top half, it's incredibly unlikely at the moment. I'd be happy with anywhere above 21st at this point in time.

Anywhere from 12th-17th is realistic at the moment, could still finish higher or lower

I second that. The lowest points tally in League 1 to get 6th place in the last 10 years is 71. Therefore we need 60 points (IMO we will need more) as a minimum from 32 games. I just cannot see it. Mid-table is the only realistic possibility. Perhaps a Mark Robins overhaul in the Summer and already I find myself digging for optimism in season 2013/14.

I think our most likely position is bent over in the dressing room.

Mid table but a trip to Wembley for JPT final.

I said 14th pre-season and will still stick with that. That would be just fine.

I honestly do think we will not make the final of the JPT.

This season is now about consolidation.

This season is playing out just like last season, the sooner we realise we are going to be in a relegation dog fight the better. Really sick of this shit

Knees pressed against chest getting shafted by sisu once again I'd suggest is pretty realistic.

We can still do well enough to feel like we have had a good decent season!! Thorn staying on and Robins having to put his ideas across during a season doesn't help! I still think we will be fine, just the last 2 games have removed any confidence which was being built!!!

We need to be more physical ..another worry seems to be that every time the opposition gets into the final 3rd they have no worries creating a chance..

That's because we are too slow and cannot cope with any counter attack.

Yep.

So when we attack it's pedestrian and then when we have several players pushed forwards if and when we lose the ball we cannot keep up with the breaking forwards of the opposition.

we are losing games by 1 goal still, and having chances to nick all 3 no matter how bad we seem to play

so ill say top half and 6th is still on if we go on a run

The Sky Blues song next year... What will it be?

♪♫♫♪........ Southend or Morecambe, Plymouth or anyone........
They shan't defeat us... etc ♪♪♫♪♫

All 3500 home fans singing that at once! Enough to scare any opposition!

I dont think the Buttpark arena holds that many does it! If we can string a couple of wins together and have a decent christmas run we can finish in the top 12 however i sadly just cannot see it, 18th maximum now...

That might well be but we're scoring at a rate of less than one goal per game and are conceding at a rate of nearly two goals a per game.
