Sold every player that could command a fee
had us evicted
took us to another county to play
made us guests in someone else's stadium with no club shop
sold every kid that broke into the first team squad (as we had no other option) for peanuts to anyone that waved a cheque book
Showed up an artist impression of a stadium that was never going to happen instead our future is playing in a multi event stadium or maybe a local park
now failing to spot potential in Academy players so they leave for nothing http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/bassala-sambou-announcement-coventry-everton-3133472.aspx
and braging about it on the website

many teams have gone thru the pains we have but I would argue none on such a regular basis and most that have suffered are now rebuilding and showing progress...we just keep circling the drain with owners that don't understand football, don't care, will not invest* and refuse to walk away SAD TIMES
Thank you Tim & Co

* invest = put in more than you take out

Ignoring other parties involved, we know all this and it's crap - worst owners any club could wish for.

I thought Sambou refused a contract though

He did, he went to Everton for about £3k a week and turned down a decent offer here.

Paying kids 3k a week without a single first team appearance is the kind of thing that got us in this mess in the first place.

Seems mad to me. A couple of years with us to get games and develop and then make a move. He won't get near Everton's first team. Like Ian says, 3k a week for a kid who has never played (well hardly) - the game has lost the plot.

Yeah but apart from the above, the managed to get a fee for Gary Borrowdale so it's not been all bad.

He's been badly advised mate.
Wilson did things the right way and developed himself.
Now he's on the verge of a big move apparently. and may even have had a shot at the England Euros squad if he hadn't got injured. (Apologies, a bit off topic).

Isn't it funny, there are those SBT members who recognise that CCFC is in the shite are are commented on existing threads about how we can all pull together. Then there are SBT members who are starting new threads slagging off SISU...

It's ok, he will come out with how this site is run by SISU when people disagree with him.

We came within a whisker of promotion if it hadn't been for Mowbray's incompetence.

A whisker? Come on.

It was over by mid March. And even if we got top 6 then who says we would of won the play offs.

A whisker? Really?
