:wave::welcome: to SBT skybluegod.

If all 3 of them leave I would like to see the following players signed

Joe Murphy ( Scunthorphs Goalkeeper )

Hopefully Conner Thomas stays and fills in for Gunner.

Marlon King will be the hardest to replace but I would like to see McSheffrey given a run upfront.

Southampton would be mad to let Lambert go really, he's basically fired them into this division. As we're likely to find out at our expense, when you get a goalscorer hang on to them by all means.

We couldn't afford Ricky Lamber when Saints signed him. Since then two great seasons for them who are progressing, have funds and are now in the smae league as us. Would love him here, but not a prayer.

You mean this guy? http://www.evertonfc.com/player-profile/james-wallace

Good shout we might be able to get him on loan.

He's not a big name player, but I like the look of Danny Green from Dagenham & Redbridge. He really impressed me in the play-offs last year and it sounds like he had another good season in League 1. They have just been relegated, so he could be available at a decent price. He's still pretty young aswell, so would fit the mould of a young player, eager to prove themselves at a higher level, and one that we could improve and then sell for a profit.

Yeah, Lambert will be just like Holt this season. No matter how much people didn't like some of his antics he banged them in. As someone said, you get a goalscorer do your best to hold on to them.

We couldn't afford Wallace, and Saints would be crazy to let Lambert go. Two good shouts, but no chance of either, I'm afraid

I always thought that we should have signed Lee Barnard a year or so ago, before he moved to Southampton. Banged in the goals for Southend (Though I guess the same could be said for Freddy) and has continued that for Southampton. Im pretty sure that they only signed him for around 200k aswell. Bargain!!

Excellent shout. I saw him a few times last season and he looked excellent. I remember a few clubs were after him last season but he signed a new contract with the daggers I think. But now they've been relegated that might be a good avenue to persist on.

I don't think we'd have a chance with Ambrose, Forster or Maynard. Davies might be difficult too as he had an excellent season but if King goes he might be a good replacement. Coppinger, I would say, depends on if O'Driscoll stays. They've been quite unfortunate with injuries this season and are probably a better team than where they finished but O'Driscoll might want a new challenge and it might start an exodus.

Also, just noticed Danny Webber and Michael Brown have been released from Pompey. I don't know what their wages would be like but I think Webber would be a good foil for Juke and Brown good back up for Clingan.

Michael Brown is a disgrace to footballl and shouldn't be allowed near the pitch. Take all the worst parts of Savage, Wise Sumerbee and Keane but none of the talent and Michael Brown is what you are left with.

That is actually true but as he's free...!!! Mind you, I would disagree with him being worse than Summerbee - never ever forgiven him for that tackle on Froggatt.

That's the only reason I included him. I know little other of him apart from who his dad is

Chris Lines from Bristol Rovers is another one, as is Adam Le Fondre. Lines is a goalscoring central midfielder that I believe we were linked with last summer or last January. Bristol Rovers have also been relegated so he could also be available for a lower fee.
Le Fondre is a striker that has been banging in the goals for the last couple of seasons with Rotherham.

Probably the only reason he managed to get in to football.

Speculation about Dann leaving Blues again - THAT could be a nice little earner for us. Go on Scotty!

Nathan Tyson from Forest? I believe his contract is up at the end of the month, so he will be available on a free.

I like the look of Dean Cox from Leyton Orient and Myles Weston from Brentford seem to be involved with all their teams goal. Nicky Ajose from United could be a decent loan shout as well

Reasonable player and one to pad out the numbers, but the thing with players lieek Tysion who have been at this level for some time is are they significantly better than what we already have?

Don't get me wrong, he's not terrible but he's also not the star quality that we are losing and if that's all we can get and I think he would demand good wages, then I think there are other better options to use the cash on. If we're happy to just sit where we are then let's not increase the debt and play our kids. If it's entertaining I'm happy with that, providing there is honesty, but if we want to progress and our aim is the play offs then we will need more.

Agree totally about Tyson - he's ok but he hasn't exactly lit the Championship up. You never know though, our style of play might suit him? HOWEVER, I bet he's on big wages as Forest can afford a lot more than us.

I wouldn't want Tyson to be the big replacement for Marlon, but I think he could do a decent job. He got a fair amount of pace and maybe our system would suit him. We certainly create enough chances for our strikers.

I would instead go for the other Bristol Rovers player Will Hoskins (striker) who'd scored 17 goals this season.

We could do with a left winger with the right winger you've mentioned. My choice would be one of these three.

I was going also to add this guy, however even though he's scored 12 goals, we've already got enough right fullbacks.
