Realistically what would be a successful target this season , we all know we are a bigger club than our current standing and that without constraints we should be big fish in this league but off field going ons have handicapped us massively so taking into account all these factors what would be a successful season for us ( obviously a return to the Ricoh apart )
I think nearly overturning the 10 point deduction in the first month will stand us in good stead and holding onto the nucleus of the team will hopefully build morale a top ten finish is not unattainable and for me would be an achievement .
A good run in the JPT - not out of reach
And at least a couple of rounds in each major cup

At the start of the season I would've been happy just staying up, but if we keep away from any major injuries I think a top half finish would be a brilliant achievement- i think realistically we'll be 10th/11th

I know depth is a problem so we can expect to have a dip in form by Christmas, but we look like a team who could challenge for play offs, that's maybe far fetched but to finish mid table would be nice

staying up after what has gone on at OUR club has to be seen as a success this season

14th by christmas, then sneak into 6th place on the final day, play sheff utd in the final at wembley and win 5-4. the best ever play off final. Clarke 3 Wilson 2 (pun intended)

We will finish about 14th this season, that's my opinion anyway.

Not sure a side with Webster and Clarke as first choice (only) centre halves can sustain any long term success. Hopefully we can use the loan market well. Then top half might be doable.

staying up is the only realistic target for the foreseeable future while we are in this position until we can get this mess sorted out.

Top Half is realistic if we continue to play the way we are, however on the day anyone can beat anyone in this League and I am sure the Play-Off places will viewed as an achievment by 10 or 12 clubs.

I am hoping we can make the Play-Offs and beat Wolves 1-0 at Wembley, a last minute goal from our own Callum Wilson..

We have a good side, a blend of youngsters with a few seasoned professionals and with a few loans coming in to add some strength.
Only downside is that the youngsters of our midfield love the green grass pitches of August, but come January when we have the bare pitches, might not help us. Plan B reqd!!
Good chance of sneaking top 6. I think Leeds did it after a point deduction.

We need to get up this season as we will struggle next season with Fair Play rules based on this years income.

Personally, I do think the squad is of playoff standard, but obviously, a 10 point deduction makes that very, very unlikely, I do think top half is realistic, we came 13th last year with the same duduction, and by all accounts, we're playing better than last season, so that's realistic, but, avoiding relegation is the aim this year, anything more is a bonus to frank.

Target at present has to be staying up. If we get out of the bottom 4 and build distance in points from it then yes top 10 is the aim and would be achievable. Then its down to th january window in who we lose/bring in.

last season we had 10 point deduction and finished 14th ish wasn't it? so similar this time round. no evidence to suggest we are any worse or better than last year.

I'd expect us to sign a CB, we weren't in a rush to sign a player before the deadline, because we could only sign free agents anyway and we can still free agents until that deadline passes, which is something like late November early December, not quite sure.

That was with shite starts and ends to the season which was effectively a points handicap in itself

When Southampton started their season with -10 pts they ended up finishing 7th...seven points off the playoffs. Interestingly they didn't get out of the relegation zone until December. If we keep our players then we should comfortably finish mid table in my opinion.

I said before the start of the season knowing we had a 10 point deduction, staying up was my only priority (Probably being naive and thinking players heads would drop) but after a 'steady' start to the season I'd like to think we can achieve something similar to last seasons standing. Anything above that would be a huge achievement.
