Yes. Nick is going to the funeral but Dilly is giving it a miss. Each to their own I guess but if it was my Dad I'd be going.

I'm going anyway out of respect. I'm good friends with both Nick & Dilly. I was at Henry's 60th about 4 or 5 years ago. It was a who's who of criminals and associates, lol.

That's him. Did you see his eulogy in today's Telegraph with accompanying picture? Talk about ego. He does the same every year when it's the anniversary of his Mums passing, big picture of himself to go with his words.

I got a letter off Dilly Thursday, it appears the guy he was working with wasn't declaring all the earnings, he is fuming, and rightly so.

Definitely a small world.

Worst thing for them, they expected to get out the other week and both got arrested hour and half apart. Right set up! Another lad got nicked Friday. But like they say. Do the crime do the time.

Good lads tho

Paul was the big 5 0 last week and all.

Thinking about it I still owe him a tenner as well from when he picked me, Gaz and one of my mates up up from Heathrow about 5 years back!!!

Yet there are still people out there who believe the law are the good guys and the criminals are the bad guys. Naive.

Everyone is getting nicked at the minute. There aren't many I know at it that are still about.

Nick owes me a grand. He went to give it me about 3 years ago, he'd had £3000 on a 5/2 winner, he said he'd give it me when he went over to pick his winnings up in the bookies opposite the Dev. I had to leave so I didn't get it, next day he was nicked and got nearly 4 years. I'm still waiting, and looking at his latest charge (which he's going guilty to) it looks like I'll be waiting a few more years.

Too be fair money means fuck all to him the amount that has come and gone through his fingers over the years. Always good company though.

Remember him taking a oner off me years ago playing spoof in the old Devon Lounge. A fucking oner guessing how many coins we've got in our hands.

Have to say though I've had a few quid back off him over the years.

Didn't know he was going guilty.

I reckon he has probably earned £4million over the years, yet he hasn't got a pot to piss in. I remember coming back from Swindon with him 1 day and he'd earned £43,000.

Plus the time his ex Debbie paid him £30,000 to buy him out from the mortgage. He got the dough on the Thursday, and by a week Friday he borrowed £300 off Dilly so he could take the kids out for the day.

He loved a game of spoof, he was always playing Tony Reilly for big amounts in the Pippin.

He is going guilty to theft & fraud because admitting both ends stops them trying to find whoever he worked with so they can't throw in the conspiracy, which would be an even bigger sentence. He's at The Old Bailey for sentence in next 4/5 weeks.

I read a quick draft of the book and it was really good. Dilly is an intelligent guy, wasted in some ways.

I've been in the casino enough times with Nick and seen him do fortunes, then have money dropped up and he's done that too.

I assume you are on about James Sturdy, baldy fella? Sound lad too.

Claire Wheatly is his new bird, not long got out the Caludon Centre, he must just attract them types, ha ha.

On a separate note, somebody told me a few days back there is a price on Matty's head. I can't see it myself but you never know. I haven't seen him since he got out of jail.

Yeah it's my mates cousin. I've always found her alright to be fair.

Just bull shit talk after a couple of things that happened in nick. Been out with him a good few times since he got out and he definitely ain't walking around a worried man.

I didn't think he would, he's a pretty chilled lad anyway. Let's just hope he stays off that other shit, that doesn't do him any favours.

I recall getting a phone call about 3 years ago telling me somebody (a supposed hard man) was looking for me (the implication being I was going to get a good hiding), so I went straight to his place of work to have it out with him. I don't know if it was because he didn't expect it or if I'd shown him I wasn't about to be intimidated but he couldn't have been nicer.

Yeah its related to that which Kulinkski is referring to. Matty's a top lad and gave me some great advice years ago that I will always owe him for. Him and my brother are close and we all grew up together. Good to have him back on the scene.

Sturd on the other hand is a c**t. Ha ha nah top lad who I did Euro 04 and Argentina Switzerland with in '05. Yeah he's always in the Dev. In fact i'll probably see him for a beer later.

I'd imagine I've got to know both of you by sight if nothing else.

Think Nick will have to give us a separate Wyken forum at this rate!

What was the guys name who stabbed Matty? I think it was the same person Dilly had a straightener with in jail about 20 years ago. He's a right prick. Dilly reckons the screws let them have the row, and it went on for about 15 minutes, but he beat him eventually.

Frank Pollock.

Matty was banged up with his brother recently and I believe they had a few words. Which ended up with Matty chasing him around the wing.

That's the one, Frankie Pollock. If I remember rightly Matty and he hadn't even had words had they? He just followed him into the toilet and stabbed him. People like Pollock are the reason I.P.P. was brought into the sentencing guidelines.

Lived on the Manor Farm Estate for a few years. Went in there a fair few times. The whole place would go quiet as I walked in the first few times as nobody knew me. Made me feel a little on edge. Was ok as soon as I met someone in there I knew. Once when I was going in something came flying through a window. Didn't go in that day
