its the ones where somebody vents their frustration at the current situation - only for some moderator to come on and have a go saying football is the only thing we should talk about. Whereas in reality - the current situation is far more important than the football - as if it continues - there will be no football to discuss

I think some people just like to argue black when it is white. They just want a reaction from you.
You know yourself who they are so either ignore them or do a bit of fishing with them for your own enjoyment.
There are also a few who appear to actually agree with what Sisu are doing, are looking forward to the new ground, hate everything about the Ricoh, but obviously they are not the full ticket.
Some just get personal when they loose the argument.
Put them on ignore. I have done for one particular poster and it has worked a treat for me. Stopped spoiling threads as much as it used to. I was going to report him based on his his incessant spitefullness, but the ignore has worked so far (perhaps I just nee a thicker skin)
All forums will have their WUMs and Trolls VOR. It's part and parcel of the internet. As Monners has said, put them on your"ignore" list. I have about 4 on mine!
Sorry V.O.R. its an internet forum, and people will disagree. It is indicative or everyday life in that not everyone agrees and we all see things differently, and I am sure you know full well that people can be far more rude hiding behind a keyboard.
It makes me laugh though that when people argue their point that doesn't agree with the majority they are abused as 'sisu lovers' 'apologists' and 'the usual suspects' and then non one bats and eyelid, and yet when someone argues back they get jumped on. I hate SISU but just get riled at the abuse people get for not toeing the party line, it is pathetic.
At the end of the day you just either deal with it or dont. I have made mistakes and gone over the top in the past, and have received just as bad back, but you move on, and ignore the crap.
