regardless of events of field, on field you have to say the SP is putting together a good young if in-experienced team that are turning out what seems to be good exciting football just lacking defensive skills.

but how much better do you think they would be if they were playing in Coventry in front of near sell out crowds?

as disgruntled as i am about the clubs circumstances i cant help but be excited by the team.

i just hope they come home soon (preferably without shitsu) so i can start watching my team again.

I don't think it would help at all.

I think playing infront of small crowds is better for them. All the young players currently coming through would be so scared of making a mistake as to face boos and jeers from 10000 fans. As has happened at the Ricoh over the past 3/4 years

near sell out is maybe a bit optimistic, but i agree with the general gist of this

Those attending Sixfields are very positive and getting right behind the young players who are responding superbly! PUSB

Tricky one this, but if they are going to be decent players/team, then they are going to have to grow up quickly, as the better they perform they will end up playing in front of bigger crowds (hopefully, the Ricoh). Fans tend to give enthusiastic kids more latitude. It's the likes of Bell and people perceived as just picking up their wages who get more flack. My worry is that our eye catching scores will attract those with money to offer a few crumbs to TF for some of our nuggets(Pressley included?). Then where will we be, as this may be the last of the family silver
