So here’s a question. If the season was voided and I don’t think it will be who would qualify for the champion league? I assume it would have to be the same 4 as this season so Leicester would miss out
also more pertinently, if league one started again, would Bolton have their points deducted again and should Bury be included (even though they didn’t play a game they were part of the league when the season started in August 2019)
As I say the above questions are probably why it will all get finished at some point but it’s where your mind goes in lock down
The prospect of the season to be voided doesn't sit right with me. I run a team on Sundays, mid table, so nothing to win, nothing to lose, however there are kids who play in teams, who are top of their league, who have got to semi finals / finals of cup competitions and have now been told they can't play and it all counts for nothing. To me, if a competition has been started, it must be resumed, or completed as standings are. So, if it's a cup final which needs playing, it's gets done when it's safe. The league's should be decided on how they are now. Or again, they get resumed when safe to do so... Same for the pro's. It either gets called now,or the season has to be completed.

Scottish Club’s below their premiership division are voting today wether to finish their league program and current league positions to stand could be an interesting precedent if that goes through
