Just thinking aloud (well the noise of typing!), what would happen if the hoff brought half of the ground now and therefore SISU would have to pay rent to his concortium and fill his coffers, i wonder whether this would strengthen his bid for the club. It is obvious that SISU are not going to let go easily however if they have a tangible asset it would be harder to deny any type of deal or at least negotiate!?

Can Hoff buy half of the Ricoh now? I thought that the offer was only open to CCFC until next year.

It sounds like he has better relationship with the Trust and the council than SISU, but that doesn't say much really. I think the right to buy is only for the club,(correct me if I'm wrong, or whoever owns the club)

I don't think a third party can just turn up and pay the "deal" price of 10/12 million..

Can't see the council selling their half, & to buy the Higgs bit you have to be the owner of CCFC. Or have i got that wrong??

Which is the one card up the City of Coventry's sleeve. As long as that remains so i just can't fathom SISU's hopes of getting their grubby mitts on the Ricoh or the land waiting for development.
